Another amazing looking restaurant. The location is good, the decor is good, the food looks really good, the food looks better than it tastes.

Culinary drop out feels like they've optimized for Instagram photos and ignored how the food actually tastes.

A friend ordered the grilled cheese but couldn't find the cheese on the sandwich. The sandwich looks amazing, tastes mediocre.

My fried chicken looked great. The chicken was fried at too low of a temperature and was soggy with oil. The breast meat I ended up leaving after only a few bites.

Another friend got a salad after her pizza was dropped on the floor by staff. The salad looked really good and seemed to have all the right ingredients. The entire table agreed it didn't taste that great.

Two other friends got the breakfast burrito and said it was "fine".

Please do better culinary drop out, maybe go back and finish your degree?

Went here because the on-line menu listed Peking Duck and Shrimp Fried Rice, but that wasn't on the menu today. The brunch hash I chose was okay. The pork tasted good, but had a little more fat than I wanted/needed. I'd go with something else next time.

Service was excellent both from the hostess and the server. Both were prompt, polite and efficient. The space itself is very interesting. Lots of televisions showing sports and very large. For the number of people dining, it wasn't as noisy as expected. Apparently they have live music at times.

Parking is an issue. There isn't a parking lot and on street parking can be hard to come by. I ended up about 3 blocks away in one of only a few spots that close.

It was very clean. You can see into the kitchen. Staff was awesome. They all were very nice, interactive and regularly checked on us. The food was amazing. My 4yr old is a PICKY eater and she ate every last piece of food.

One of the coolest & most unique places I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying a meal! Even though I came at a time where they were out of a few things on the menu, the Classic Caesar & Roasted Salmon was delicious. Also, the bar staff was impeccably attentively. I was visiting from Atlanta & just realized there are 2 locations nearby so I will be returning to “dropout” sooner than I anticipated ! 🧑‍🍳🎓😋

Great food and great service.

We went for a casual birthday night for a newly turned 21 year-old and two other birthday girls and needed a place that wasn’t too stuffy, had a large drinks menu, and was a fit for multiple palates. We got it all with Culinary Dropout.

The vibes were very chill with the sneaker wall, the large central bar, and the transparent kitchen window. It felt stylish without being pretentious and for younger people just exploring outside of fast food, this was a comfortable place to be and still feel like you are “dining out”.

The drinks menu made it hard to choose with multiple cocktails, mocktails, wines, shots, and beers. We had three of the cocktails: Evil Jungle Princess, Abandoned Cadillac, and Campfire Vibes. All were good but the Evil Jungle Princess was the fave. We were impressed with the balance of the drinks. They don’t skimp on the alcohol but it isn’t so boozy that the mixers are overwhelmed.

Lastly the food. I had some picky eaters and everyone found multiple exciting options. We ended up with The Slicer, the salmon dip, the 36-hour ribs, the chicken katsu sandwich, and two orders of the Peking duck. The Slicer was a HUGE hit. Everyone enjoyed the selection and there was enough for all four of us to try everything. The salmon dip was pretty delicious too, but a complaint for both the Slicer and the salmon dip was that there could have been crackers or more bread to enjoy the dips with. The Peking duck was good and spicy with lots of flavor. One of my guests thought the rice was a bit gummy and we all agreed that the presentation was a little thrown together but overall it was tasty. The chicken katsu sandwich was good but it was a sandwich so not much to say other than soft bread and crispy chicken. However, the real star was the 36-hour ribs. Three huge pieces of sticky, sweet, and tender rib sections with a bright coleslaw and crispy fries. Everyone had a taste and all agreed it was the best entree of the night. A repeat order for sure.

Finally, at the end of the evening, our amazing server treated the birthday boy to a monkey bread that smelled like heaven.

We had a wonderful night and will be sure to return.

We went to Culinary Drop out to try out their Denver Restaurant Week options. The food was excellent and our server, Hannah, was so friendly! The atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to come back!

This place surprised me with an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Matt took excellent care of us for my wife’s birthday. Beer selection is really nice and constantly rotating. There is a nice bar in the back for quick service and a patio for outdoor dining.

We had an incredible first time experience with our server Liv.
We had a party of 6, with no reservation on a Saturday, and had no problem being seated.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and answered every question we had.

We all ordered specialty cocktails & mocktails, that came out very quickly, and were delicious.
Liv was able to make suggestions with appetizers, entrees, and desserts making sure all of us were more than happy with our food.

We all left feeling stuffed and incredibly happy with our choice to check out a new place in Denver before heading to the airport.
