I had such a great time wine tasting here for my birthday! We used a Groupon that came with a free bottle, which was such a fun perk. Mike, the owner, led us through the tasting, and he was so kind and charismatic. As someone who doesn’t know much about wine, I actually learned a ton and even found a few wines I really liked, which surprised me!

We also got to tour the cellars, which made the whole experience even better. It was such a fun and unique way to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. Ginger was working her first day, but you would never have known it—she was so professional and friendly, just like Mike.

Overall, it was such a pleasant experience. Thank you for making my birthday special! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is by far the best winery I have ever been to and the wine was delicious! We got to go back into the barrel room for barrel tasting. Super educational, fun, different experience, personalized, relaxed, engaging and mind blowing. So FREAKING cool!!! The vibe here was super relaxed and fun! Delicious wines! Affordable tastings, bottles and cases. LOVED all the home decor and unique gifts! Super fun!!! Right off Hwy 50 AND delicious BBQ next door! Loved this place! We will be back for sure!

We found this gem from being harvest hosts members. Great location because there is an excellent bbq place right next door and a few other wineries and a brewery. This winery was very friendly and had great wines. I loved the reds and their sparkling. The other nearby wineries while nice did not have the enthusiasm or the service that Crystal basin cellars offered. We joined and are planning another trip! They have a lot of unique gift ideas you don’t see at other wineries.

Visited in June 2022. The winery staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a tasting- a selection of six out of twelve possible wines. Their pours were generous by tasting standards, and once we identified what we liked, they allowed us to taste a reserve not on the list.

One of, if not our favorite winery in El Dorado Hills! Great atmosphere, welcoming owners, and amazing wine! Love the Bubbly ? and Pommie among others. Grab the Late Harvest Vionier if you like those sweet wines. ? ?

Called on a whim to see if they could accommodate a last minute group tasting and they made sure it happened. Chris was our sommelier and he was fantastic. Every staff member working was fun and made sure we had a great time. The wines were amazing and their case deals are reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time and enjoy some great wine. You won’t be disappointed!

Where do I start? The owner gave us a barrel tasting which was very entertaining and educational. After we were done, we had a tasting flight of red wine, all of which were fabulous! It was hard to choose which wine was coming home with us, but we managed.

The owner also has good taste in clothing. For those of us who are old enough to remember these fabulous pants...Dittos was his favorite! It was a great day!
