These 3 building are on Mollie Kathleen Road at the junction of Teller County Road 821. The Office and Black Smith Shop relocated here to the Hoosier Mine from the Cameron Mine. The Ore House was relocated from Forest Queen Mine to this location, the Hoosier Mine.

Didnt do the tour but we checked this land of pyramid WOW....this place is beautiful the way they had decorated that land, almost like a pyramid. We stood on top of that big yellow mine stairs thing. U have to stop by here

We hiked the victor gold mine / ghost mine, and it was our favorite part of the trip. It was free, lots to see and explore, rocks to climb. My teenage kids loved it! Take water.

We had a very exciting time. (1) Meet at designated location and view a safety video. They supply hard hats and safety apparel (2) Via van, they provide a tour of the actual open mine. See enormous trucks crushing and hauling rocks for potential gold content (3) Two stops: (i) ability to climb a huge truck; (ii) enter an indoor building and watch the enormous sifting for gold. No samples of gold provided, but plenty of information and experiencing this amazing open mine.

We went on the 2 hour tour and it was pretty awesome. First thing I will tell you as a warning and it was a little disappointing but you do not go in/under a mine. This is a working and potentially very dangerous mine so it's not something they do. What they do is even better. The Information they pack your brain with is beyond enough. The tour guide we had ,Mark, was absolutely knowledgeable and very clearly loves his job. I would love to have a beer with him and just learn from him. The tour is 2 hours but it involves a lot of driving. That driving is supplemented with facts and stories. There are a few stops but the best one is with the huge Euclid. You can go up to the top and sit in the driver's seat. Just that moment was worth the $9 ,honestly. Overall, I highly recommend the tour. It's super cheap and so worth it. I learned so much, I wont be able to retain it all. I enjoyed myself very much and was amazed by all the effort and workers it takes to mine gold. Also, one important thing Iearned was how amazing the company Newmont is. It's amazing how they do reclamation and truly respect the surrounding communities and nature. Take the tour. You won't regret it. (Side Note: Theres a Trail near the mine you can take that gets you really close to old buildings and has information signs. Just a taste of the info you'll get on the tour but we walked most of it after the tour and liked that as well.)

Came here to get a tour and look at the trucks however it looks like there are no more tours available it says no public entrance.
