I needed a replacement for my 70 year old patio sliding door and 2 window combo. Usually I have 3 estimates from contractors before deciding on one. The first company that came was CR Windows. Jesus came on the day he quoted, and even called to verify he was on his way. He was very professional and answered all my concerns on the spot. What sealed the deal for me is that he was not just a salesguy, but also an "installer" before he started up his window business. He spoke from years of experience installing countless windows and doors. He thoroughly looked at my existing patio door, took measurements, and then provided me with several replacement patio/door options, based on my needs and price range. He quoted
me a very reasonable price for the the sliding door, and two window panels, including installation and haul away of the very heavy and bulky old door components. I was pleasantly surprised that this would be a custom order and build even for the base model I chose. Going on my gut feeling after speaking to Jesus , I chose CR Window
without getting the additional bids. I signed the contract on August 10 and
the installers came yesterday August 30. Merle and Brian (Jesus's son) showed
up on time. They were very professional and got right to work. You could tell they both knew exactly what needed to be done on this type of installation. One guy was doing the demolition, the other was assisting him, taking away the glass, and frame, and
keeping the work site clean and safe to work. . However, like i feared they found issues of rotted dry rot
under a section of the patio door frame. A quick chat by Merle to Jesus, and a remedy for my situation was quickly had, which was replacement of the rotted sections with new pressure treated lumber. By 4:30pm they were finished, and I'm more than pleased with the new sliding doors and two picture windows. Merle and Brian did a great job, making sure they waterproofed with foam and caulking any point of entry that water might enter. They also did a great job on the included crown molding that surrounds the interior of the door, Too me its really beautiful, and the new patio doors/windows, with the included crown molding frames the existing opening perfectly. Reminds me of picking a new suit off the rack, vs. having it custom made, there's quite a difference. Merle and Brian's work is outstanding, at the end of the project, they removed their drop cloths that kept work area clean , and they swept up and removed all remnants of debris, and left the place like they were never there. Lucky i went with my "gut" this time when choosing CR Window.

This used to be a window. CR replaced it with this beautiful and very functional set of doors. I was very impressed with the quality of the materials, the quality of the workmanship, and the professional approach and follow up. Workers did everything including all exterior stucco repair, exterior lighting and electrical, and meticulous cleanup. Only regret is that I should have done this years ago.

Fabulous window company! Fantastic job, great price and cleaned up when finished. As a Property manager, I hire people to repair and remodel homes for a living and CR Windows & Doors are the best I have found since 1979! This company is a keeper!

Jesus and the super nice lady behind the front desk (can’t find her name right now) were both VERY knowledgeable and ready to help. The front desk lady was clearly experienced and went above and beyond explaining my options. They are people you honestly enjoy working with and brighten up your day. I highly recommend!
