CP Meat Market is no doubt the best place to buy meat in the Chicagoland area. They are helpful, knowledgeable and always kind. We just had a 5 lb. Prime rib for Christmas and it was spectacular! Thanks CP!

Today was my first time in the shop. I tried my best to scan the selection available, but it was very busy, as expected, the day before the 4th of July. Not a problem. After about 10 minutes I was up to order. I asked if they had only the hamburger patties I saw in front of me, or if there were any other kinds. She said just the ones in front of me. Great. I asked for 3 of them. I double-checked the board for sausages, but only saw Polish sausage listed. So I asked the lady if they had other kinds of sausage. She gave me a look like this was the dumbest question ever and listed off the sausages they had. Fine. I did let her know it's my first time and there is only one sausage listed on the board. I let her know what I wanted and she said OK. I then asked if they have hot dogs. She looked at me like this was the world's dumbest question again and actually repeated the question back to me in an insulting fashion. I again let her know it's not listed on the board. She turned around to review the board and realized I was correct. I wasn't trying to be difficult, but if you aren't going to list your selection on the board or on a menu, you should be ready to answer questions! While she was getting my order ready I realized I can take my business elsewhere. I completely realize this will have zero impact on their business as they had a line out the door. I was so disappointed as I had heard good things about this butcher. Oh well! Would not recommend to friends or family. I guess I'm headed to Jewel since Frankfort doesn't have a butcher.

Absolutely the best! We ordered a hind quarter cow. They called us to let us know when it was ready. Everything was cut and packaged perfectly. They even carried it to my car for me. Great price and great quality!

Update: Their signature meatloaf is back!!

World’s best meatloaf!! I’ll be glad when they have them back. It’s one of my favorite meals. Everything here is exceptionally fresh and the service is superb. Never a poor or unsatisfactory experience! One of the best businesses in town; if not, #1!

Saturday was my first visit to CP Meats and it won't be the last. This has to be one of the highest customer service experiences I've enjoyed in years. You know when people are lined up out the door that there is something special. The quality of the meats are top of the list and only matched by the friendly and helpful staff. Their pricing is more than fair for that level of quality. Count me in as a CP Meats fan!
