I recently visited this place and had a good experience overall. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The service was great, no complaints there.

The food, however, was just okay. My dad's salad was basically like a Wendy's salad, but it cost $21 here. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special. If you're looking for amazing food, this might not be the place.

One downside is that it was extremely loud inside, making it hard to actually hear conversations.

If you love wine, though, you’ll probably enjoy it more. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the food could use improvement.

We came to the Cooper's Hawk in New Lenox last night for an early birthday dinner. The Flatbread appetizer with Italian Sausage was very good and flavorful. However, the star of the show was the pretzel crusted pork chops and pistachio crusted grouper! Both dishes were absolutely delicious. My mouth and stomach were happy to say the least. To make a great night even better was our server, Kelly N. From the start she was extremely pleasant and very helpful. Throughout the evening she consistently kept an eye on us and checked to ensure we were alright and not in need of anything. She was awesome and really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Kelly even gave me a delicious treat for my birthday making me feel even more special. Thank you to Kelly N. and to Cooper's Hawk for the great service, a wonderful dinner and a pleasant evening out. We will be back soon!

This location is our favorite. We often dine by ourselves, or with family and friends…. but this dining experience was extra special.
On November 18,2024, we celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversary. Our server, Kelly N, was exceptional! She was attentive and very welcoming. Her recommendations were fantastic! She made our experience extraordinary. She made our dining experience and our Anniversary the best!!!
The food was excellent and we enjoyed every minute.

Amazing food, good variety of options including some vegan options, service was outstanding our waitress Danica was phenomenal. A little noisy due to the sheer number of people and a slightly cluttered feel to the layout but overall a great place for a nice dinner. Gonna be on the pricey end but this time it might be worth it.

Jessica is a fabulous server! Friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. I am a wine club member so the wine is always good. Came in for a birthday dinner with a friend who had never been here before. Slightly disappointed in the food this visit. Sad to see the surf and turf doesn't include seared scallops anymore.The scallop gratin is terrible, please make the seared scallops available again. Way to much parmesan on the filet medallions, but they were cooked perfectly! Roasted veg side was just ok, green beans were tasty, not enough carrots, too many onions and it was overly greasy. My friend said her soy ginger salmon was delicious! As always, the pretzel bread and bruschetta were top notch!! Creme brulee is always a winner with me and the extra birthday treat was appreciated. Thank you for a nice dinner.

I had a fantastic dining experience recently, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Derek. From the moment we were seated, Derek was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He struck the perfect balance—checking in just enough without ever being intrusive.

He was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and ensured our food and drinks arrived promptly. Derek also handled a couple of custom requests with ease and a smile, which made us feel really well taken care of.

Great service makes all the difference, and Derek truly elevated our visit. If you dine here, I hope you get him as your server—you’ll be in excellent hands!

I had a really great experience at Coopers Hawk this past weekend. Our server Derek was very attentive to our table and took the time to answer any questions about the menu. He made sure to pick up any dirty plates off the table ASAP which was really nice. He was also very on top of it when it came to seeing if we wanted to order anything else or if we needed more to drink. Highly recommend!! 🙂

What’s happened to Cooper’s hawk?! It used to be good, high quality food. Tonight we ordered and spent $20 on an appetizer because we usually love the Thai chicken lettuce wraps and received frozen, thawed Panera style chicken and hardly any of it at that!!! Such a shame this restaurant’s fall from grace.
