I love this store. The minute you open the door there is a warm welcome and cozy feeling.
There is nothing like a general store feeling where I just enjoy all the wonderful items to choose , from local honey to clothing.
A must shop store if you are in Cold Spring. I especially love it in the fall.

Craig and his staff are the best. Willing to find sizes and order if they don’t have in stock. Great selection of house decor, men’s and women’s clothing. Look forward to the new men’s shop opening across the street in a couple of weeks.

I had an excellent experience shopping at Cold Spring General Store over the weekend! They have so many unique items to choose from, but what made my experience top notch was the staff and customer service. As I had been celebrating my birthday and recent engagement, we decided to splurge on a nice new jacket. The staff was so congratulatory and kind in helping me try on and pick the right Barbour, and when they didn’t have the color I wanted, the owner Craig personally ordered it for me. I appreciate that they take the extra step to inspect the jacket before sending it out. To top it all off, they kept me personally informed on shipping details, which is so nice compared to just receiving an online tracking link. This just goes to show how important it is to shop small businesses!

If you are trying to find some local anything, this is the place to do it. Got some local hand crème, syrup, jam, you name it. Will always come back here because it seem they really like to support other local businesses.

Very nice and neat store, but u unnecessary expensive. Everything is artisanal, organic or something of the sort, so prices are just unreasonable. The only thing that's really worth the money is the draft beer. Try it there and fill your own growler
