This is an actual farmers market. I know saying that seems a bit obvious but as most Westchester and city folk can attest, many "open air" markets are often marketed as "farmer markets". Now with that out of the way. This market is great. Nice variety of stands that offer free range chickens, eggs, lamb, beef, and other proteins. They even have fish from a small fisherman operation. During the winter and spring the variety of veggies are understandably less but plenty during the summer. Everyone is lovely and everything is top quality. Great experience everytime I go. Logistics wise, they have portable toilet and plenty of parking. Two tips: get there early for most many things sell out. There is a center stall with a family that sells tamales. If you enjoy typical Mexican food, these tamales are some of the best I ever had.

This is a very nice farmers market with great produce and other artisanal products. The vendors are very friendly and shopping here is mostly very pleasant.
However there is a sign posted that dogs spread Covid-19. This is untrue and very misleading. If the owners of the property don’t want dogs on the premises then don’t allow them, but don’t make up a lame and untrue excuse.
