Tried Clarky's for the first time a couple of weeks ago when the Clarky's truck was in the Brunswick basin in Grass Valley. This is the best barbecue I've had in a very long time and the portion is huge. I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich (the pork bahn mi sold out in the first hour they were open). Love Clarky’s! My favorites are the chicken sandwich and brisket sandwich. They serve up very generous portions and every bit is homemade. The Clark’s put their heart and soul into Clarky’s and you can taste it in every bite. Highly recommend!

Clarky’s Santa Maria Style BBQ is without a doubt the BEST BBQ around. I was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA and these BBQs were around throughout my childhood with Little League, girls softball events, Lions Club, etc. Let’s just say I KNOW a true Santa Maria Style BBQ when I see and taste it and Clarky’s doesn’t miss a beat. Tri-tip (my fave), chicken, ribs, pulled pork, salads, baked beans and French bread. Clarky’s has added a ‘to-die’ for loaded Mac n cheese and the best chili!! Burnt ends are new to me and I’m so hooked! Service is top notch and Ali makes it all special with her sense of humor and personality. She and the hubby make an exceptional team. I’ve since moved to NorCal in Nevada County so thank you Clarky’s for bringing back such good memories and the traditional Santa Maria BBQ!! I’m very grateful.

Clarkys bbq is amazing. Some of the best bbq I have ever had. The Banh Mi special is awesome as is their pulled pork. Portions are well size so you can eat for lunch and dinner. You can’t go wrong. Plus the owners are some of the kindest people I know. Try it, you won’t regret it.

Really great food and large portions. Stopped by towards the end of the day and the food was still fresh and delicious. Would definitely eat again.
