Diana Kerr is a national treasure. She has helped my family and I on multiple occasions with our passports and other business that we needed to get taken care of. I wanted to take this moment to formally recognized her for being professional, courteous, and showing us great customer service experience. I truly hope she is recognized by the organization. Thank you Diana.

Trying to enjoy a park with my pups (two husky mix’s) has become EXTREMELY difficult moving to Oakley. I’ve first run into complications when the gardeners lock the parks although they are finished in the area, now regarding the remodel of the dog park said to be completed March 7th (no availabile updates online regarding the reopening of the dog park specifically) instead online it says the park is open, thinking i would finally be able to let them run off some steam at an actual dog park we drive there only to find a small sign that says they’re still closed for another month. All could have been avoided by updating online services. There are no other available “dog parks” in the area. Just dog friendly parks I am not able to fully let them expel their energy at. It’s very frustrating that there aren’t any other options to work with. I’ve recall trained them and worked them to the best of my ability but it’s unethical to consistently try to exercise them at a park that doesn’t legally allow off leash dogs (meaning if anything were to happen and my dogs were in the middle of it, i would be held responsible). I’m hoping the city will recognize the neglect of proper dog exercise areas and come up with a conclusion to many dog owners concerns.

A little sad to see the press conference on Alexis Gabe's case. It's awesome that the city council helped raise reward money, but handing her parents a giant lottery winning style check after a speech was not the way to announce it. Watching them hold that check looking so desolate was heartbreaking. That performance wasn't necessary or tasteful.

I had went to the city hall (a week before the date) to reserve a spot for my daughter's first birthday. Was told that I could not reserve the spot because I needed to reserve it 10 days in advance so that I gave them enough time to process the money... I never heard of it taking 10 days to process money, maybe 3, but not 10. I just let it go though... The lady who I spoke to told me that no one could reserve the park since no one reserved it before 10 days. That it was a first come first serve. The day of, I went to the park to try and get the picnic area first only to learn that they rented out the picnic area to someone else. VERY VERY inconvient to family members who were driving as far as 4 hours away. I just wanted her party to PERFECT and the fact that I almost had to cancel my daughter's party got me very upset! I had to drive around taking up so much time just so I could find a place to have my daughter's birthday. VERY unprofessional!!!

Approving night time construction on roads right next to neighborhoods. Poor planning and very inconvenient. It’s almost 1 am and the trucks on laurel and Ohera are constantly beeping and having alarms going off. If you’re going to approve them working at night have protocols for their alarms to respect the people living in the area. Already spoke with the police department and had them go look. They said this is the city’s decision.
