Such a cute, well stocked store. Loved the pot selections and assortment of plants (especially the fact that the pet friendly ones are all labeled!)

Amy was super sweet helping me choose both pet & beginner friendly plants. I’m so grateful that she took the time to explain how to care for each plant (ideal locations/sunlight, water needs & what to look out for). I’ll definitely be back again to continue growing my collection 😊

This has rapidly become my favorite plant store in the area. A fantastic newer plant shop that has a wide selection for every type of need! These are the reasons you should shop with Chicago plant babe:

- wide variety of common house plants to rare/HTF tropicals
- plants are diligently cared for to ensure they come home with you healthy & pest free (unlike plants from Home depot or Jewel)
- shop owner is extremely knowledgeable & personable. gives you best growing tips as well as an enjoyable shopping experience i look forward to each time
- unique selection of plant pots i haven’t seen anywhere else [including online] at a reasonable price as well as a repotting service offered in shop
- shop has an up-to-date website with all listed inventory, pictures, & pricing to help plant junkies such as myself budget before coming in

Every plant i have purchased from this shop is currently thriving & healthy! Can only say that about 1 or 2 plant shops in the area.

I recently saw Chicago Plant Babe on Instagram, I was captivated by the lush greenery and the vibrant atmosphere of the store. I sent my son to Chicago from Hartford to check it out.

The store is a true haven for plant enthusiasts, offering an incredible variety of tropical plants that are healthy and thriving.

The staff, especially the owner, were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to answer all questions and provided valuable tips on plant care. Their passion for plants is evident, and it made the entire visit even more enjoyable.

He ended up bringing home a stunning marbled pothos, which has already become a cherished addition to my collection. The quality and selection of plants here are top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable.

If you're in Chicago and love plants, this store is a must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Such a cute newly added gem in Lincoln Park!! Amy (the owner) has created a space that is so warm and welcoming. She is so helpful and will help you answer all of your plant questions. There was an amazing variety of plants and she did a great job making recommendations for the low maintenance plants we were looking for. And I’ve never seen such honest prices for gorgeous plants. We will definitely be back!

Great plant selections! Very reasonably priced. Amazingly cute pots for said plants and the MOST FRIENDLY owner. 10/10 recommend, I’ve already bought 4 plants in the 2 months she’s been open and I will NOT be slowing down. My favorite has been the ring of fire plant, it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Amy and her husband Dylan are two of the sweetest and caring plant store owners around! I contacted them about helping pot a large monstera cutting I had. They were able to provide expert advice and repot it for me, along with an overgrown aloe plant I had as well. Would 110% recommend them for repotting services, as prices were reasonable, they are so nice and responsive, and you don’t have to figure out which soils are actually best for your plant!

Thankful for them being in my neighborhood, and looking forward to getting some new plants from them as well ☺️☺️
