This isn't the fanciest of wineries, but it's cute. There is a beautiful view from a beautiful patio over looking the desert and vineyards. There are plenty of shady spots to sit outside should the sun be a little too warm. The prices are phenomenal and the service was great. I'd recommend going here first on your way to Sonoita.

Vineyards near Tucson? It's the desert!?!?!?! Really? Oh yes! Visited here with my wife and it was wonderful! What a nice little vineyard and the wines are terrific! What a pleasant surprise! The staff there is awesome too! BTW, if you are heading out there, follow the Google Maps directions for the turn as the signage will have you going down the wrong road. The staff there said they had already called AZ DOT to move the sign but they have not yet.

Anyways, well worth the drive from Tucson and the tasting fee! You even get to keep the glass! BTW, try the wine slushie... oh so good on a hot day.

This place is awesome! The scenery and environment is breathtaking, especially when the sun is setting. The staff and owners are all very nice and helpful and the place really has a local and comfortable vibe. I proposed to my fiancé here and the level of detail and preparation they gave us to make it happen was above and beyond. The owners went out of their way to set things up with the photographer, chef, and violinist to make sure everything went perfectly. Not to mention, the wine is FANTASTIC.

Large variety of delicious wines in an inviting and cozy location with down home/friendly staff…makes you feel away from it all as you take in the rural beauty and sip yourself into blissful moments. I loved the Halloween themed wine & candy pairing - such a unique idea and yet it worked so well! We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting and even took several bottles home with us! The blueberry pomegranate slushie was extremely tasty and refreshing in the very warm afternoon! Only negative is that the gravel/dirt road you have to traverse from the main paved road to get there is quite rough and tumble in a few spots and overall could use some work to make it more manageable…we have back issues and it was quite an irritant.

This is quite the hidden gem in Vail. So relaxing. It has the feel of a family owned small business and is in a secluded area (you have to drive on a dirt road to get here) that’s peaceful and quiet. Some of the best customer service/staff I’ve encountered, especially in the Tucson/Vail area. Trust me, this place is worth the time/drive and effort to visit. They have little snacks but don’t expect to eat a meal here and be full afterwards. Charron is all about the wine tasting experience and it accomplishes that quite successfully. See added pictures for an idea of the beautiful view (it looks better when there’s a lot of green, healthy vines, keep in mind). Issac, Susan, and Kat are exceptionally kind and great at what they do.

This cozy little vineyard is the gem of the desert in Vail Arizona. The last thing you would expect to see is this endearing family owned vineyard that has wine tasting and amazing views. Plan on spending a little bit of time just relaxing and trying some of their unique wines while taking in the very unexpected scenery. This would be a very fun daytime date in my opinion.

Very quiet, secluded space with very friendly staff! When you first arrive, the first building you see is a double-wide, and you wonder if you’re in the right place. Keep driving up and you’ll see the cute tasting room and sitting veranda. There is a large selection of wines; we found most of them to be more sweet and mild than we prefer, but still a great local winery to visit and support! The flight bottles were a super fun, unique way to experience the samples!
