What can you say? This location is convenient. We live in the city of Plattsburgh and the recycling truck will not pick up anything other than what fits in the tiny blue cube bin they gave us. So this place is our go-to recycling spot.

UPDATE: New hours. Open Tues, Thurs, Sat only. 9AM - 4PM.

The “inconvenience” facilities should be open 5 days per week. It’s a pain to have to keep track of when they are open or closed. I guess it serves their purpose of forcing residents to hire casella to remove trash.

Drove 15 minutes to dump with load of cardboard last Saturday, only to find dumpster full. Employee said " take it home with you " Piss poor way to run an operation.

They need to stop talking everyones trash from everywhere else, I find it insulting that Vermont trash and across are state is sent here. It needs to be law that every county does there own trash. It is sad that it's destroying my home town.
