Stopped by for an after dinner treat a few evenings ago. I had actually never been to a Carvel before so this was a fun surprise. They had a lot of prepackaged ice creams you could take with you like ice cream cake, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream cones dipped in the chocolate. There were some funky looking things thrown in the freezers too. I ended up getting a kids pistachio ice cream cone. It was pretty good, not the best I’ve ever had. The cone also had a weird stain on the bottom that I didn’t eat. My bf got the chocolate cone with no stain on his cone and the ice cream was also good. The people were friendly. The place was just a little overwhelming with stuff. I felt like it was too small and they were trying to cram in a lot of stuff. I’d come back if I’m the area for a quick ice cream fix!

I’m a big fan of Carvel and today I went to their store in Elmsford. They are very strict about social distancing and ( of course) their staff wore masks and gloves. They have a great selection of hard and soft ice creams but I decided to get a milkshake. It was heavenly!

This is the best carvel in Westchester County. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl my dad used to bring me and my siblings and I still live coming back here every chance I get. They are friendly, clean , I love that they give you a good amount of ice cream and the prices always consistent. You guys are the best

The few, the proud,.. Come on, folks! It's Carvel Ice Cream! This location has always been monumental in my life growing up and still today. It would get a biased 5 stars 🌟 on that alone. The ice cream is second to none. Whether soft-serve, traditional, cake, or shake, it's great! Scoops or soft serve in your choice of cones or a bowl, floats, banana splits, a sleeve of flying saucers, and more are there for you to enjoy. They still make the ice cream cakes with the crunches, too. The service is pretty good, and they will allow you to customize your order with toppings, etc. Be mindful and patient of customer surges and the occasional understaffing.
The dining space is limited to the two historic, small benches outside the building. Of course, you can sit in your car in the parking lot to indulge in a cool treat. This location in Elmsford is a great stop after shopping locally or passing through regardless of the weather or season. Ice cream is the reason!

Extremely nice and warm ladies that greet us as soon as we come in. Even though they have masks on, you can tell they are smiling. The place is clean and the ice cream is delicious. They are generous with the serving sizes. I’d definitely go out of my way to come here again.

The service is great!! The people there are so courteous and patient when we try to explore different flavors. They even remember our orders when we decide to stick to the same things. They create a comfy feeling of a small family owned ice cream shop.
