I have been a loyal customer since the store opened. I want to share my thoughts on the up-selling practices I’ve encountered. Whenever I request 3 pounds of meat, they consistently weigh out an extra pound. When I ask them to remove the extra pound and just give me the 3 pounds I requested, they respond with an attitude. I guess every ounce counts; it makes them more money without considering customers have budgets.

This place has the best meat for all your tacos. we love the shrimp and the asada. You can buy all the sides to go with it. Cilantro and onion, rice and beans, salsa, tortillas.

We normally have no issues. We bought some already chopped onion and cilantro and it ended up having a bunch of plastic pieces in it. Dangerous

I’ve been a regular customer at La Carreta for years, but my last visit was really disappointing. I bought a tres leches cake for my husband, and when I got home and he took a bite, we realized it was expired. I checked the label on top, which said October 18th, but underneath that, it said October 7th. It was hard to notice at first because the milk from the cake seemed normal like part of the tres leches, but it turns out it was expired and sour. When I went back, they refunded my money, which I appreciated, but the fact that they put a new label over an old one is concerning. This is a serious health issue, and I hope they address it quickly so it doesn’t happen to anyone else!

Make sure you double check price before buying.
I used to come here a lot, before shut down to buy meat and shrimp but they charged me extra.
Again I gave this place a try and slim older gentleman with mustache probably the owner, charged me for seasoned meat. Here’s the pic showing you that my meat was not seasoned. My fault for not checking after it had happened before, but that’s f up ripping people off. I don’t have time to deal with this b s, so I’m
Never come back.
The young lady at the cashier, morning specific (with glasses) was super nice to me.

Never will I shop here again! after being a loyal customer since the day they opened. My experience today I purchased half a dozen or tamales almost $18 and they wanted to charge me $1 per salsa that came from the kitchen area HOT FOOD!! The $1 salsa isn't even 1 oz of salsa. I've never had issues till today. Luis acts like they are going to go broke because of it! I didn't see the lady's name but she was so rude over it to. I'm buying HOT FOOD that should come with salsa. That small salsa isn't worth $1 maybe .20 cents.
