I wish I could say something nice! This bakery shop was quite busy! Feel sorry for those people who come to visit this shop. They really deserve better food. Coffee wasn’t good! Tiramisu tasted awful! More training needed urgently for whoever is making those food!

No more savory food when we got there around 4:15pm. Too bad, my mom was missing their quiche. Our group ended up getting a few dessert pieces and sharing them, with coffees and teas. Our picks were the Earl Gray eclair and plain cheesecake - we did like them- didn’t find them too sweet.
So much to choose from but prices are not labeled so have to ask for each item. They still call out when order is ready. Place is clean and modern. Restroom available.

This bakery has it all, if they don’t have it you don’t need it. It’s Manhasset so don’t expect bargain prices. The bright and spacious interior has plenty of space for enjoying their surgery treats. There are also tables outside if weather cooperates.
I only had coffee, croissant and a baguette which were fine.

I’ve been coming to Buttercooky at least 20 times. I’ve tried most of their pastries, cookies and cakes/fruit tarts over the years.

Their lobster tail is to die for when it’s freshly made. Apple crumb turnover is pretty good.

They did a beautiful renovation and atmosphere is very nice.
Some staff are nice but some staff are rude.

I knew this was gonna be a bad idea. Leaving the orthopedic doc to check out my knee, what do I see heading to the highway but this amazing display of decadent goodies that I had to make a u-turn to see if my eyes were paying tricks on me.

Love the chill, relaxed vibe. I could chill there for hours with a good book or some good company. It was truly TORTURE to choose only 1 delectable treat so I went with 3. Have 1 now save 2 for later and you can wash it all down with their free, chilled fresh lemon/orange flavored water.

I went with a slice of carrot cake, a fruit tart and a random blend of a dozen cookies. Needless to say I won’t be back or I’ll have to mortgage my house and buy the joint! Moist, fresh sweet goodness is what I have to say. Thanks for the afternoon pick me up.

A little on the expensive side as there are no prices displayed, unless I missed it, so I was surprised at my bill. Don’t be like me, speak up rather than being embarrassed asking them to take stuff out when it’s a tied ip in a box🤣

Buttercooky has many high caliber offerings from donuts, croissants, tarts, & sandwiches.

How to decide when so many items look so very delicious?

I settled on a broccoli egg croissant tart 👍👍. Rich & decadent. I wanted another…

Awesome venue with comfortable leather bench seats. Plenty of sunlight radiating through. I can easily sit here for an hour.

Very friendly staff. Nice setup with complimentary self service lemon water.

It’s no wonder they have been in business since 1962. My only gripe is I did not see a price list or tags for the pastries. Did I overlook it?

Quaint, airy and well lit neighborhood bakery. Food and pastry options were extensive, but I was disappointed in how limited their flavored coffee options were.

Edited my review from 4 stars to 3 stars after:
-observing the male baker / owner(?) have an immature response to a customers request. The male employee was visibly annoyed/frustrated rather than accommodating and neutral.
-cold water did not work in men's bathroom sink
