Classic American burger joint with burgers cooked to perfection, regular or seasoned fries, and fried pies for dessert!
I have a gluten allergy, so I can’t have the pies, but after speaking with the owner a few weeks ago and learning that the Searcy and Conway locations have gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer for French fries, I finally made it over to Burgers, Fries and Pies to try it out for myself.
I was expecting a “Huh?” when I asked for a gluten free bun and fries but the cashier was knowledgeable and confirmed that yes the fries are in a dedicated fryer and they have gluten free buns (even though I did not see the option on the menu board).
The bun is really great. Much better than Chick-fil-A’s, and I enjoyed my burger much more with this bun than without one (like other local hamburger options).
The atmosphere is a classic 50’s feel with a checkerboard floor and vintage signage.

WOW! Here we go again!! 7/3/2024
These people CANNOT get a to go order right to save their dang life!!!! Will NOT be back and will spread the word!!!!

Yet again! 4:29/24
Order wrong! This time it’s completely plain! No mayo, no mustard, no ketchup, NOTHING. Ordered seasoned fries…..no season fries received. Guess they just can’t get orders correct and they weren’t crowded so being busy is not an excuse.

Update: spoke with owner and trust the issue will be dealt with. He was very polite, concerned and apologetic. We will be back & hope things will go better. I did update my stars ?

Have been eating here 1-2 times a week but after the treatment we received from the manager I doubt very seriously that it will continue to be our “go to” burger joint. Before this incident it would have been 5 stars but after the extremely rude service, shoving items at us and order being wrong, again, not to mention the horrible attitude and tone of voice, no longer a 5 star rating.

We were pleasantly surprised as how great the food was here! We had the single and the double brisket burgers and they were the best burgers we have ever had! The fries we got were seasoned and absolutely delish! We also had the pecan fried pie and it was amazing! Service was fantastic, quick and the meals were affordable. Definitely a must try!

My dollar wasn’t worth it. I know I’m headed for what’s hopefully “medium” fast food but it bottom line gross. Managed to get through the burger, onion rings were disgusting and soggy with a bunch of some kinda salt mixture, and the pie I tempted tasted like pure grease and Colcord jelly.

Holy cow! This place was excellent! I was just passing through on my way back home to Texas and ordered from there cuz it was close to the gas station. Little sis I know I would be getting one of the best orders of burger and fries I've ever eaten! I have told everyone about this place and almost have a friend talked into taking a day just to go have lunch there. I had a root beer float that was outstanding and a blackberry pie that was to die for. I will definitely move mountains to get back to this place to eat there again.

So we were out and about on a rainy saturday and decided to pop in here for some lunch. Now this was the first time I have eaten here, and let me say it will not be the last. from the moment we walked in the door the staff was amazing. From explaining that their meat is ground fresh daily, the fries are cut fresh when you order them, they really were super helpful in helping us decide on what to get. Pay close attention to the sign they have right inside the door... "we are a restaurant and not fast food" they don't have premade burgers and fries just laying around under a warmer and throw it in a sack. they cook your burger and fries when you order them so you know it is going to be extremely fresh, hot and tasty!
Now let's talk about those Pies.. they have daily "samples" to help you decide on which one to get. when we ordered ours, I was able to walk up to the counter and see them make it right there, so you know everything was as fresh as it could be. We tried the Strawberry cream, Peach, Cherry, Coconut and Chocolate Peanut Butter. I honestly can't say which one was my favorite because they were all so so good. We got ours "to go" and just placed them in the oven for a few minutes that night to warm them back up and they were fantastic.
If you are in Searcy and you've got a craving for a really good homemade burger and Pie... you will not be disappointed if you pop in here for a bite to eat. A+ all around. We'll be back for sure.

Meat was still pink in the middle. Pepper jack cheese that was on it smelt horrible and looked just as bad. Not very pleased with the food so far here. Should of read other reviews first before coming.

Same good stuff as the one in Jacksonville, AR except the brisket burger but maybe they all have it now. Git the single cheeseburger with seasoned fries. Also tried onion rings. Was all great. We had a big group of people and they had plenty of room for all of us to sit together. Food came out timely and fresh. Prices are good, $10 or less. Pies and ice cream are excellent. Gave atmosphere 4 stars only because it was a bit hazy inside due to the fryer or something and smelled like grease. Overall a good place to eat!
