I'll give it a 2 ONLY because the young cashiers and baggers are SO sweet, and friendly, that they do need recognition!
Now, for the negative. I do not shop here. I came with a friend, and was appalled and disgusted by their prices, and unhealthy produce. My family will not shop here. Look at the white slime coming from a package of watermelon, ?, and a bag of Fritos barely bigger than my hand cost nearly $6.00!?! Absurd!

Brookshires used to be my favorite place to shop. No more! The produce is just awful, they leave it out till it’s just unacceptable. There are so many out dated items on the shelves and the managers are just rude. If an item isn’t on sale it’s worth the drive to go find somewhere else. It honestly makes me sad because it’s so close to my house and I buy a lot of groceries. I’ve given them so many chances but today a big circle of employees were in shoppers way just visiting. The assistant manager is just awful rude to the checkers in front of customers. She should take some of her own advice and all the manager does is stand outside and smoke. The meat manager lady well she’s just flat out awful-period! It’s like a joke there, I don’t get it.

I will stop shopping here. Many of the younger staff/management is just rude and not welcoming at all. People have a choice where to shop; even in a small community.

I must say Brookshire's is on points their store is clean they got good customer service they need to work with the deli on how to slice that cheese then throw down one of those plastic sheets over the meat or the cheese especially when it's on a number two when you shave two off you need to throw a sheet on there shave two more off you need to throw a sheet on there that way it could be more convenient for us when we take it out it won't be all crumbled together I've had the experience twice I used to work in Brookshire's

In our small town Brookshires is our largest grocery store. They have the biggest variety of brands and they have a bakery and and a butcher in the meat department. They are a little more expensive but I think it's worth it. The service is great the people are always very helpful and Napoleon the manager knows everyone by name. Great hometown feel!! Love it
