My husband and I had a great time at Brookby Farm! The Vincent family was very welcoming from the moment we arrived on the location. We purchased a few snacks and ate on a table overlooking the front field of the farm. We then took a tour of the farm with Elyssa. She was very kind and explained how they care for the facility, animals and where they store the milk for cheese making and before they bottle it. Afterwards, we saw their happy, beautiful cows! We met Steve, who showed us how to milk a cow and answered all our questions! I loved giving the two-week-old calf a bottle of milk! We ended our time at the farm by visiting the farm store. We purchased several gallons of raw milk, a dozen pasture raised eggs, meat and a candle. Their selection is top of the line! Jamie and her sister were lovely and helped us with our purchase. We enjoyed our time at Brookby Farm and you should visit too!!

Farm to table has never been easier! Brookby is like a scene out of a classic novel - rolling green pastures marked with the quintessential farm house and barn combo. But the inhabitants are the real highlight! The Vincent family provides their guests with a warm welcome and their cows follow suit. Sustainable farming practices, pasture-raised, grass-fed, tender love and care for the animals on an individual level, unrelenting adherence to the highest quality inspection, cleanliness, and production results in an unparalleled product. I’ve never had milk this good or creamy - it makes store-bought taste watered-down! As an added treat, the Brookby Farm store offers additional farm-raised, farm-made products, ranging from fresh eggs to jams to grass-fed meats and everything in between, and partners with other local farms and artists offering similar fare. Don’t forget to take them up on their offer of the educational tour, to get a first-hand look at what goes into producing their delicious milk, and maybe even try your hand at the labor, yourself! Steve and the family are a wealth of knowledge and the experience is one of a kind. Great store. I have been going there weekly for heritage milk, eggs, and meat. Their sour dough mixes along with local jam, honey, or pizza sauce make nice office birthday gifts.

I stumbled upon this gem one night trying to find a place to milk a cow. Growing up, I had seen pictures of my mom milking a cow and wanted to try it. I called. Jaime was so accommodating. The next day I was learning about a2 milk and milking a cow! They have the cutest little store that sells local honey, maple, meats, and other things. The Farm itself is run by Steve and Jaime. They are the cutest couple whose dedication and love of their farm is evident when they speak to you of their experiences.. they have an Airbnb where you can stay, enjoy the view and harvest fresh fruits and veggies from the raised garden beds. If it’s just to shop and support local or to learn about milk , visit this farm, you don’t be disappointed .. thank you for allowing me to check milking a cow off of my bucket list!
