Our freezer is stocked with a variety of cuts of beef we purchased from the Brass Family when visiting their farm for their pasture walk several months ago. It was delightful to see the animals first hand and to learn more about the approach used to raise the cattle on the Brass Family Farm. The quality of the beef is outstanding. The flavorful beef has brought back memories of childhood family meals in Nebraska that included servings of local Nebraska beef raised by families we knew. There is simply no comparison to what is typically available for purchase in large grocery stores. We will be purchasing more beef from Stephen. We are thankful to him and his family for the thoughtful care and work that goes into providing top quality food for local families.

We researched & sampled from several farms for 18 months before deciding on Brass Family Farm. Started out with the family sampler box in the late summer 2024. We all noticed an immediate change in taste & quality of the beef. After that we purchased a 1/2 cow in the Fall of 2024. January 2025 we picked up another 1/4. We did not want to run out mid-winter! The quality of beef is second to none. We love that Brass Family Farm is transparent in their farming practices and take great pride in providing healthy, grass fed & grass finished beef. We are very happy to support them. They are easy to work with and communicate well. We will never buy beef from the grocery store again!

We have ordered individual cuts, a half cow, and now a whole cow from Brass Family Farm. It has been the best tasting beef we have ever found and we have been eating grass fed beef for over a decade. We went to their 2023 pasture walk and were extremely impressed with the whole operation. Amazing Experience and quality of meat!
This was my first ever experience to purchase half a cow.
Originally, my husband and I wanted to avoid the middle man and most importantly we wanted transparency with the cows diet and what my family and I are consuming. I was thrilled to know how the Brass Family takes pride in what they do and I Thank God we still have local farmers with great work ethic.
We had to share the word and beef with family. They noticed and tasted the difference.

Fantastic experience! First off, this is year 6 for us buying half a cow and the farm we had ordered from in the past wasn’t able to fulfill so we were in a mad dash to find a new farm. Stephen was extremely informative and helpful in making this switch easy for us. He was willing to hop on multiple calls to help answer questions. It was out of season for him and yet he went out of his way to make something work for us! Extremely grateful to have found our next go to farm!
