We recently moved to lovely Bayfield and love to try out new places. Before going to any restaurant, I always read reviews. BSB has several mixed reviews some good and some very bad but because it's right in my new town ,I just have to give it a shot. We went on a Saturday at around 5pm and the place was packed which is alway a good sign. Very simple , cute place inside. We decided to sit at the bar and had the nicest bartender named Jeffrey. Attended us right away. Bar was full and we got lucky with 2 bar stools available. They have a nice selection of beer listed on the wall. We did a.flighg of about 6 different beers each taste was $1.75 and that was perfect to be able to try different selections. Beer was nice and cold. We also ordered the fish and chips that comes with fries and slaw it was absolutely delicious 😋. We saved room for dessert and Jeffrey suggested their homemade mixed berry 🥧 pie with a scoop of vanilla and OMG that was a super delicious pie. I give this place 5 stars. We had a great 1st time visit. There are so many more food selections that we'd love to try so we will Def come back. I recommend this place to anyone.

The food is fine. The kitchen is astonishingly slow, which the entire restaurant seems to take for granted. Three of us came in a Saturday morning. There were two other tables, both of whom had their food. We ordered a Reuben, a pancake, and an order of scrambled eggs; this took 35 minutes, without a single acknowledgement from our waitress that this might be...too long...? And when it arrived, half the food was cold. This is the second time we've been there. The first time we thought it was a fluke, but it's clear that it's just the culture.

Almost all the beers basically taste the same. They rarely brew something different. It seems they used to brew something different a while back but not anymore. I have a hard time finding something I want to drink. Walk in and usually, half the people at the bar are drinking bottled beer. That says it all!

Food is passable, beer is fair, but not on par with brewpubs in Durango. Service is fair, friendly but inattentive. Pet policy in the outdoor patio is incomprehensible. If you live in the neighborhood, your pets are encouraged to visit and hang out on their own and unsupervised. If you want to bring your pets to sit (leashed and quiescent) on the patio, you are encouraged to lie about them being service animals. If you are in the mood to be truthful, you are encouraged to take your business elsewhere. As far as I can tell this policy is subject to change with wind speed and direction, or possibly depending on retrograde motion of certain planets.

This was a very fun place to visit. We we're on a business trip from out of town and stumbled in whole looking for a place to eat.

The service at the bar was great and the staff was super friendly. The beer selection was good and the 2 I tasted, the Red and the IPA were fantastic.

Family friendly environment with floor chalk for the kids to play with outside while the adults enjoy a drink and food on the patio.

Had prime rib special which was delicious as were the veggies. It was a good value for $24.50!

I ordered the $10 drink special. It came in a small glass filled with ice. Hardly any drink and not sure if there was any liquor. Waste of money.

I had a great waitress. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Very tasty and juicy. I just wish the hoagie would have been toasted. I'll ask next time!
