Food was great and I'm still going to rate it as a 5 star experience. However, there was one small issue: DEAR CHEFS AT BONEZ: WHEN AN ORDER COMES IN FOR BEEF FAJITAS, PLEASE SLICE THE BEEF PROPERLY BEFORE YOU GRILL IT. I DO NOT WANT A HUNK OF BEEF LIKE GRANDMA'S SUNDAY POT ROAST STUFFED IN MY TORTILLA. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTO ATTACHED.

What a fun, awesome, quirky place! Skeletons, sugar skulls, book cases with book titles turned the other way, and more! My veggie fajita was amazing and my husband’s dinner was reported as flavorful and enjoyable. Our waiter, who was also the bar server, was pretty awesome. My margarita was delicious, not cloyingly sweet like so many other restaurants. The bartender reported that they make their own mixer using Triple Sec and lime juice the way it should be! This would be my hang out if I lived anywhere close.

Never had a bad experience here! Amazing food and staff and the atmosphere is highly entertaining on a Colorado level. We drive up from Lake City just to eat here. Thanks Bonez! You rock

The most full tacos I've ever had! I tried the beef, pork and chicken and each was bursting with flavor and bursting out of its tortilla. The margarita was delicious. The DIY guacamole was excellent and seating outdoors gives a great view of the mountains and Elk Ave. Side note: I did pay the price for that amount of food and garlic so if you're susceptible to a little bloat - go easy (done with old man aside).

I have been coming to this place every time i’m in town. However, the food prices are ridiculous this time! There were 3 salsas: one is too hot (just chili taste), the other one is just sour taste and last one is just sweet. It’s good for them to have this kinda unique way to serve but it’s just not tasty. The pricy is so expensive especially D.I.Y guacamole, $17 for that? Crazy! Everything went up with small portion now. Well, i think it’s time for me to move on to another Mexican food in town.

I love the food here and was so excited to go back with my husband after his ski race. We were told it would be a 45 wait, which I was totally cool with. I had a margarita while I waited (delicious!), but that 45 minutes turned into over 80. Our party of two was passed over multiple times in order to seat parties of 3, 4, and 6 waiting. I kept checking the app to make sure I wasn't imagining things. It was astonishing and demoralizing. I spoke to the hostess and she said that two tops were hard to come by. Wow. I thought a wait list was first come first serve. My husband and Ieft and found some pizza to go to take back to our hotel. Really disappointing.

The food was fantastic. I recommend the grilled fish bowl and the yucca fries. Ambiance is stellar. They deserve an award for the preservation of the bar back. When you're there admire all of the interior renovations and decor.
