There's a reason Black Forest Bistro WINS and PLACES in so many categories for "The Best of the Springs!" From service to bar drinks to the food....it's one of my favorite restaurants. The friendliness of the staff makes our visit so special every time we dine. And the food....I've had the sushi nachos, ahi tuna, Korean sticky street noodles, lobster ravioli and Bayou chicken fried chicken (just to mention a few of their fabulous dishes.) Sometimes the food looks too pretty to eat. You absolutely have to snap a photo before diving in. The drinks are the same - beautiful and tasty. I see Flip (the bartender) as a true artist. On occasions, I've had the opportunity to meet Chef Deanna. She takes pride in what is being served to her customers and it shows in her food as well as the entire ambiance of the restaurant. I'm already planning my next visit!

When we walked in the host was very welcoming. I guess our reservation online did not go through even though we had the confirmation email. He sat us down at our table and when the server Melissa came over she was fantastic! She was VERY attentive always checking in on us and giving us her recommendations since it was our first time there. The food was DELICIOUS! We went when they had the palisade peach burrata and it was so amazing. All of the food was absolutely amazing and what makes it even better is the chef gets all fresh ingredients from farmers markets. Absolutely recommend coming here and trying the food. You won’t be disappointed!

We had the BEST experience here!! Everyone was SO welcoming! We had just gotten engaged, and BFB went above and beyond to make us feel special! Best restaurant experience I have ever had! We were even given free champagne and free dessert! The hostess took lots of photos for us. She was such a gem!

Most recently went to Black Forest Bistro to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was incredible and went out of their way to make it an awesome experience for us. The food is always fantastic and definitely recommend their whiskey cocktails designed by Flip.

Thank you SO much Melissa and Leslie! What an amazing experience. We’ve been to so many high-end restaurants and I struggle to think of somewhere that was a better experience than this. Amazing wine pairings, service, and CREATIVE and INNOVATIVE food. We had the burrata that was injected with pesto, with prosciutto, dragonfruit pearls, arugula, and toasted chibatta. Then my fiancee went with the steak frites with a cowboy butter and truffle fries. I had the salmon oscar with dungeoness crab, bernaise sauce, and 6 cheese scolloped potatoes. Oh my god. I have NEVER had such a beautifully cooked salmon. We had to end the night with the tiramisu cake and pistachio cake with strawberry baileys cream. My fiancee hates cake and he was IN LOVE with the pistachio cake. As was I.

What a sweet staff, hometown vibe, amazing food…. I just can’t explain how amazing this experience was. This is definitely going to be our new spot. Even though it’s almost 40 minutes away for us. Amazing.

We have gone to Black Forest Bistro a couple times for special occasions and they are always amazing experiences. The staff, the food, the drinks. The STAFF is exceptional and welcoming. The FOOD is exquisite and prepared perfectly. The DRINKS are always good no matter what you get with a perfectly curated wine list for pairing with their seasonal menus. The staff makes sure to check on you in so many ways, making sure you are enjoying your experience. I highly recommend the cheese wheel night and seasonal appetizers. We will come back again and again. Thank you for always exceeding our expectations.

Celebrated our 9th wedding Anniversary here. The cheese wheel experience was delicious. Our server, Johanna was very sweet and attentive. The atmosphere is a bit loud like stated in some other reviews but we didn't mind. Lots of celebrations were going on around us, and we really loved the enthusiasm shown from ALL wait staff.

One of the very best restaurants in the city!! Chef Deanna is amazing and you can tell how much effort & love is behind her cooking by the quality of it! Johanna is a very attentive and friendly server, we’ve had her twice now and she’s the best! The cheese wheel imported from Italy is really special and makes for a delicious dinner. Highly recommend this place and will be back soon!!
