We went here the weekend before Halloween, and it was so crowded we were there all day and spent most of the day in lines.
The ticket booth has recommendations on how many tickets to buy based on ages and number of people and I thought that was a good thing, until we ended up with way too many tickets that were overpriced and could not be used on everything, for some things we had to buy other tickets and their recommendations don't let you know that. So, we had most of our tickets left at the end of the day.

We went back the last weekend they are open in November just because we had so many tickets left, and it wasn't nearly as crowded. It was a nice day, but if we hadn't had all those tickets, we would not have gone back. It was just more than I wanted to throw away.

The bottom line is that it's extremely overpriced every single thing, and I would rather put that money into a smaller place that's just as nice and not as full of themselves.
Their signature cider drink,in a disposable mug, is almost 20 bucks, and although it tastes alright, it's nothing fancy. All the rest of the food is mediocre and outrageously priced as well. And parking alone is 20.

I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying be prepared and don't expect much for those dollars. This won't be my first choice. I've been to many I've enjoyed more for less.

Great place for the entire family. Entrance is free but parking isn't but money goes to the school. Train ride, hay ride, petting zoo and small carnival rides and more. Cool shows like stunt dogs, pig racing, one man show, and best of all...the juggler. May be hard to believe, but go and see for yourself. Enjoy!

First time here. Loved the experience and the price was fair and attainable.

The corn maze was cool, the sunflower farm was beautiful and the many family rides was fun!

The apple cider slushie was delicious!

Will visit again!

5 Stars!

We visited Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in both 2023 and 2024 and had an absolute blast both times! This place is packed with fun for all ages.

Top tips for a great experience:

Go early! Beat the heat and the crowd—nothing can zap excitement like getting too hot. Plus, it's easier to enjoy all the activities before it gets busy.

Parking: It’s FREE Monday-Thursday, so if you can go on a weekday, that's a win! Friday is $10, and Saturday/Sunday is $20.

Tickets: Once you walk through the main entrance, purchase your tickets. If you're a family of three, 50 tickets should be plenty to fill 4-5 hours of fun. Ticket options as of 2024: 1 ticket for $1.25, 50 for $59.99, or 100 for $109.99. There are Value Day FunTix which are slightly cheaper but come with blackout dates for October weekends. **Not all attractions require tickets!

FREE attractions: There are several free activities, including parks that don’t require tickets: Farmer Bill's Barn, Tree House, Fort Alotafun, Wild West Kid's Town, Honey Houses, Tire Climb, and the Hay Jump. In addition, there’s a tractor ride near the entrance that will take you around part of the farm and out to the pumpkin fields at no cost (pro tip: do this before it gets hot).

Hot weather essentials: Bring plenty of water, an easy-to-carry bag, and if you have a portable hand fan, that’s a win! Trust me, people walking by will be jealous.

Must-do activities: Start your day with the tractor ride, train ride, and sunflower fields before heading to the parks and other attractions. There’s plenty of shade around the farm, which makes the afternoon more comfortable.

Food options: They’ve got you covered if you don’t bring food or eat before you go! You can enjoy BBQ, chicken, pizza, and more right on-site. They have kid meals available as well.

Budget tip: Pack a lunch! You can bring your own food inside or leave an ice chest in your car and grab what you need. But don’t miss out on their yummy apple cider beer and pastries!

Face painting: Get it done mid-day, so you can capture some cute pics later! Plus, if it’s hot, your kids are less likely to smear it off right away.

There’s so much to do here that you probably won’t get to everything in one visit, but that’s just more reason to come back! This is now our annual family tradition.

PS. We are not "locals" to this area, but it is worth the drive! I hope this review helps you plan your trip to this farm with ease. In comparison to other farms, we LOVE the large versatile options for young kids to adults, the trees throughout the property that provide an ample amount of SHADE, and the AFFORDABILITY with free options that won't break the bank to take the family out.

During fall my daughter's school had a field trip here and we loved it. We stayed after and bought some of the tickets for the rides, they are a bit pricey. We went this week for a field trip for the Hamburger Farm. The kids like learning about the produce that goes on the hamburgers and the hamburgers themselves, but it was a bit long for them. The hamburgers were rather small, but were very good and of course all the produce was very fresh. They do not accept the tickets from the Pumpkin Patch during the Hamburger Farm.

Honestly, I want to love this place. Family owned, good old fashioned fun, sights and smells of autumn…. Unfortunately, I have found Bishops to be increasingly, um, ā€œfor profitā€ for lack of a better term. The fire pits are so much fun, but crazy expensive for what you get. Don’t get me wrong, the staff that helps keep you comfortable by bringing wood, helping with trash, giving directions, etc., was absolutely wonderful. The fireworks show, however, was very short and anti-climactic given that it’s supposed to be the highlight of the event. It’s also gotten very large in the past few years. Where it used to be small and sweet, now it’s growing into a small county fair complete with rides, bars, and large sometimes unruly crowds. Bishops is not a bad place, it’s just becoming less of an autumnal family outing, and more of a pricey theme park. But again, I was very grateful for the kind staff members all around. From parking, to entry, to fire pits, I was pleasantly surprised by their proactive courtesy. I will be back again in the daytime to check it out in a different setting.

Set your expectations before going: this is an expensive place, especially on weekends. Do yourself a favor and go on a weekday. Also, don't think of it as a pumpkin patch... it's more like a theme park than a farm. But still a fun fall experience, with plenty to do to easily fill 3+ hours for the kiddos. Also, bring food with you... there's no policy against it and the food they have is average and overpriced. Plan to spend $30-$50 per person if you want to do most of the activities.

Bishops is awesome for the whole family! There is a wide variety of activities from riding the train, painting, going on slides, panning for marbles and watching pig races! It's a great place because there is something for everyone. The pumpkin picking fields are huge! It is a very busy location. We enjoyed going earlier in the season (sept.) before it got too crowded. Check their website for specific information about rate changes and available events throughout the year. Their blackberry cider is so good! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a day of fall fun!
