Been going to Birch Hill for our meats for over 20 years. Excellent selection of meats and seafood plus great prepared meals and sides. Glad Tom took over for his Dad and has grown the business. He’d be proud of what he’s done with the place!

Australian Wagyu NY strip. They don’t always have it but is the best steak you’ll ever eat. Have them cut it to 1.5 in. Liberal kosher salt. 5 min each side high heat in dry cast iron pan. Then flip every 30s for another 3 minutes. Perfect medium rare. Will be the best steak you’ve ever had

Very nice shop. Good quality meat, plenty of choices. Nice selections of groceries, such as olive oil, as well. Pricy, but it's worth it to spend a little extra to get better quality.

Very impressed. Classy environment, modern gourmet raw products and also prepared foods, but with an old school aura. Love the French jazz ambience. Owners and staff are all Gentleman and Ladies.

Have bought my Thanksgiving Day turkeys from them the last several years. They were the tastiest and juiciest birds I have ever had. Very pricey but worth every penny.

This is a very high-end butcher, the sort that I suspect deals with as many personal chefs as it does with gourmets who do their own cooking. Get the price before you order from them. I ended up paying $175 for a goose that wasn't much better than the $45 goose I'd bought elsewhere a year before.
