In summer, the Tree Bar is gorgeous, and in winter, the Greenhouse bar is cozy and friendly. Bartenders are knowledgeable and the vibe is very neighborhood-local. There's always 3-4 beers i really enjoy. I drive 40m from Champaign at least every month and love being there!

Lovely day trip with friends placed us at Big Thorn for lunch. Off the beaten path spot that was worth the drive.
Had chipotle chicken tacos others at the table had sandwiches and a bowl. Very tasty and lovely. Everyone satisfied with their meals. Will make the trip again. Want to see the area in the spring and summer.

Fantastic place. Definitely worth the trip out. Totally unique and well done. The beers are great. I loved the Munich Pale and the Rye IPA. The food is also super tasty. Deceptively simple and well executed. The Pickle and Pig delivered on the name and gave me exactly what I wanted. The staff are also fun and friendly. Everyone looks like they are happy to be there, and that says a lot about a place.

What a cool place. We were in the igloo from 6 pm until 9pm. Heater kept everyone comfortable. Had a great time and can we talk about the amazing food truck food. Had an vegitarian option as well (which was so good) first time here and very impressed. Our 2 kids got to play in the sand box. Very kid friendly. Didn't have to get a baby sitter they even had peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese on the kids menu. Served their beer they make. Apple was my favorite. The staff was great and very friendly. Only down side is no regular bathroom but they did have outhouses...they were very clean and didn't smell they did have a place to wash your hands. We will be back with more friends and family. Thanks for the fun night.

Visited Big Thorn Farm on Sunday afternoon. Glad we drove from Champaign to check this Brewery out. The tree bar is great. Wonderful outdoor setting. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the beers. The beers we tried were good. The Vienna Lager was excellent. The food we got was also very good. I would definitely recommend this brewery and will be back next time I'm in the area.

I’ve been to many breweries in the US and abroad and I will have to say that this is one of the best. I’ve never had a bad beer from this place. I’ve seen it grow and improve over the years and can honestly say that other than major breweries you are not going to find a better selection and the quality is just awesome. What about that food truck! Highly recommend.

Amazing beer flavors, great atmosphere for the whole family. Their food truck is out of this world. Definitely my favorite place around. Kid and dog friendly.
