BG Asset Management has done an excellent job managing several of my properties in the Bay Area.

I've worked with two other management companies before BGAM and BGAM stands out as being reliable and consistently able to deliver results. I also appreciate the team's flexibility which allows me to be as involved or hands-off as I want (i.e. they are willing to accommodate my preferred vendors).

Because I work work full-time, having them handle everything from tenant placement to maintenance needs and annual inspections has been a weight off my shoulders.

The BGAM team is responsive and professional. They strive to maintain strong relationships with both owners and tenants. Originally, I was managing my own properties but have since had BGAM take them over since I've been really happy with the experience.

I especially appreciate Marc's responsiveness and willingness to step in where needed.

I guess Mr Guzman is only available to property owners and not renters. His contact information should be removed from notices etc. I’ve rented a home for about 7 yrs now and Mr Guzman has NEVER replied to any of my inquiries. Having to make an appointment to drop by their office is strange. There’s only ONE person in that company who responds emails, and inquiries. Look at the yelp reviews! While they may do a “good job” at taking over management of the properties the renters have another experience! And this also happened to my son who was attempting to rent another property they manage. The lack of response is extreme.

I was approved to see one property to possibly move into I really didn’t like it and wanted to see other properties before spending money to apply. Claire refused to let me see other properties and told me apply and we can switch it to any property you would like. I was not going to waste money or my time applying if I end up not liking any available properties Claire has not responded to my requests to view other properties. This is unprofessional and a scam like tactic to pressure you to apply so you have to pay the applications fee and the $300 admin fee. Who in their right mind applies without seeing the neighborhood or property. I recommend going else where to rent from cause this business seems fishy to renters

Very unprofessional! I drove all the way to the property just to not be provided a entry code to view the property, not even a response to my texts what’s even more funny is being sent an application after being stood up. Who in their right minds apply to live somewhere without viewing the property? Shame on you as a company to stand up potential tenants I dodged a bullet. I can imagine them as landlords and the fact no one reached out to apologize for the inconvenience. GO ELSE WHERE WHEN IT COMES TO FINDING A RENTAL

One of the standout qualities of BG Asset Management is their availability and responsiveness. Whenever I've needed assistance or information, they have always been quick to respond. One time my tenant locked themselves in the garage and it was handled immediately so they are great for things like that also.

As someone with a single condo in Hercules, CA, I could easily manage it myself, but I choose to stick with Marc and his team because of the peace of mind they provide. Teaming up with them has honestly been a great asset to me as a property owner.

In the 4+ years I have been working with them, Marc's tenant selection has been very thorough. My condo has been occupied by the same person for nearly 3 years now. His extensive network within the local community has also proven to be a tremendous advantage. Whether it's finding the right contractors for repairs or suggesting the cheapest providers to supply a replacement refrigerator, his resourcefulness is certainly an added bonus.

When it comes to reporting, they are exceptional. They take care of the contracting and all the paper trail that comes with it. My monthly statements and rental payments are never late and they provide a comprehensive yearly statement, which has significantly simplified my tax reporting.

I also love Marc's involvement in the local community and his podcast. It really reflects the passion he has for his job and the Bay Area in general.

If you are looking for a property manager who is smart and friendly with a great understanding of the intricacies with property ownership, then look no further.

I wasn't sure what to expect when BG Asset Management took over my property back in November as it was the first time I've ever used a property management company before but Marc's company has provided a fantastic service so far!

They gave me two people to choose from and I love the tenant I have now who has been taking great care of my property. Their vetting process is excellent and the BGAM team handles all the rent collection as well as any repairs needed, which has of course taken a huge workload off my shoulders.

They have proven to be a very well-run company and are always very responsive. I would advise property owners to really consider giving them a call if you're looking for reliable property managers in San Pablo, California.

I rented an apartment managed through BG Asset Management with Marc Guzman, and it was a good experience. Whenever we needed help with anything, they were always in touch, making sure we got everything taken care of in a timely manner.

Marc stood out because of his responsiveness. If you put in a request, Marc will actually open it, take care of it, and get back to you. That's not something I can say about the other one I've had before - they just don't get back to you at all.

If I ever need to rent again, or if I know anyone looking for a place in the Pittsburg, CA area, I'd definitely recommend Marc and the BG Asset Management team. Their communication coupled with actually getting things done really made our renting experience very pleasant.
