Beautiful place. Different type of winery then we've been to before. Waitress was nice but busy, so we weren't able to get much information on the wines, so we had to figure things out ourselves. Wines were good.

Location feels far off from any place you would have on mind for when you want to be setting an event. The workers here are relatively focused on getting everything back in working order, and almost every complaint I would list here seems to be already acknowledged and actively worked on. If you wanted to come here, do it in about 4 weeks from my review or later (April 6th>review date) when they have had a chance to figure things out.

This place is lovely! The wine was fantastic and so was the food! We did a food and wine tasting the Lamb and Beef were cooked perfectly. It was a great day and the staff were warm and gracious.

Went for lunch and tasting with my girlfriends one afternoon. Lovely view off their back patio and a good selection of wine. Two of us order wine flights, the other a cocktail. They also offered wine slushies. The owner was around and very knowledgeable. Wait staff will bring out food ordered at the bar and take away dirty plates, but you can only order at the bar at the front.

The winery was extremely beautiful and the staff was great! I don’t understand the high volume of negative reviews. My family and I had a wonderful experience during the wine tasting, and the lovely woman was very knowledgeable about the wine. She clearly pours all her passion into the winemaking process. We sat down next to the fireplace and had our charcuterie board, which was delicious. I find it amazing how the winery works with the community to supply their amazing products. Left with two bottles of wine which was so good and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go again in the summer/spring to take in the beauty of the winery ❤️ thank you Bella Vista winery!

Edit: I wasn’t expecting a refund. We did eat about half the board (which was only salami and grapes for 22 bucks) It was more about the interaction w management. We have been here in the past but this was the worst interaction. We live close but do not plan to come back. If you think your going to a winery for the experience..don’t go here!

Went to the winery on a Sunday afternoon. Purchased two bottles of wine and a charcuterie board. What we got was a small plate of greasy salami, some grapes, 6 pieces of bread and Brie cheese that was warm and melting when we got it. We got this same thing a few months ago and it was amazing. Now for 22.00 it’s a joke. When I told the manager that I was disappointed in the board she was not helpful to say the least. She told me they didn’t have the boards in the past and I was wrong even though this pic is what we got a few months ago. What a joke

Magnificent view, great wine, solid service and good food. They had live music on Sunday afternoon, and we had a tremendous time just relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. Really good selection of wines, including some unique sweeter wines made from blueberries, blackberries, apples and strawberries (not too sweet—truly delicious). They also have some real good dry wines as well from interesting varietals (Vidal blanc, Chardonel, Seyval, Chambourcin).

Ignore the bad reviews and see for yourself—seems like some huge groups that arrived without a reservation were disappointed with not getting the very best service when the winery wasn’t ready for a huge group with no notice. It’s a fantastic midwestern winery, not a Michelin star restaurant... have appropriate expectations. Go for a wonderful relaxing time, and enjoy this local treasure for all it has to offer. We absolutely loved it and we’ll be back.
