This has been my favorite place to get bacon ever since I lived in Illinois 12 years ago. I now live back in Missouri. Sometimes I will drive 3 hours back over to just buy 30 pounds to keep in the freezer. If there was ever a top shelf bacon then this would be it.

Took a deer into them in early November (before the firearm deer season) it's now February and the deer is still not ready. I am new to the area, so maybe this is normal turnaround for them, but this seems excessively long. I called recently and was told it would be several more weeks or months. I typically process my own deer but didn't have the time this year. This was a good reminder on why to process yourself. I hope the product is good because by the time I receive it will have been frozen for several months. Not worth it especially for the prices they charge

This is my go to for high quality meat! Forget trekking to the city for overpriced short ribs and standing rib roasts, Behmann has better quality meat, cheaper! Their butchers are knowledgeable and flexible to your needs. And they have cheeses and pantry items as well.

Dropped off a deer to get caped and processed. They called me to come in and get my cape but when I showed up they told me it wasn't ready yet. That was a wasted trip. Came back a week later to pick up and they had lost it, was there for over an hour looking for it their cooler, I finally found it.

That was four months ago, I still do not have my processed deer back. 4 months seems like more than enough time to process one deer. When I call they seem frustrated with me that I'm asking for an estimated date for when it will be ready. How is 4-6 months an acceptable turnaround time to process a deerAbsolutely will not return with my buisness.
