My husband and I were visiting the area from out of town and love Indian food so decided to give this place a try. So happy we did! We shared the lunch platter since we like smaller portions. It was so much food and so yummy. The lunch platter came with soup, not pictured. The service was quick and friendly. We’ll probably visit again this week.

The restaurant has a spacious café-like atmosphere. The food tasted good overall. I decided to take a chance and order the Chana Bhatura, even though the place is known for South Indian cuisine. The staff assured me it was prepared in a North Indian style, and while it was close, I’d say it was about 80% there - so if you’re a big fan of this dish, you might want to skip it. One surprise was that the bhatura was cut into four pieces, which was a first for me.

My biggest issue, however, was the pricing. The dish costs $13 but comes with only one bhatura. If you want an extra, it’s an additional $6.50 - so if you’re even a little hungry, you’ll probably need to order more. It felt a bit like those budget airlines that lure you in with low fares and then charge you $100 just to bring a carry-on! And yes, I would never pay more than $3 for a chai in a restaurant of this stature.

Delicious food, very tasty and very affordable! The place is beautiful and the smells of the place are amazing! I loved the people, they are very attentive and ready to help you! We did not know what to order and they came with ideas and we were very happy with what we got! I loved their cakes and ice creams! It is a great place to go!

Food was delicious, divers and worth repeating. Service was good, could have been a little more friendly. The atmosphere was nice, I just wish my table was cleaned. Over all, good experience. The selection of dessert was the best part including ice cream, cookies and cakes.

This was a pickup order of a lunch bone-in chicken box medium spice. Very generous portions and reasonable price at $13.99, two naans and loved the whole egg as well as the section of raw onion. I didn't really care for the peanut soup but that's just a taste thing on my end. I'm used to a specific type of flavor profile so this dish didn't hit my personal preference, I still think this is worth a try and next time I will try the mutton.

My husband and I dined in. I had their goat biryani special and my husband had chicken korma with rice. Both our dishes were delicious. Service was pretty fast and our waitress was nice and friendly. We saw quite a number of vegetarian dishes as well on the menu. We’d definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant.

My work friends from India told me about Bawarchi when I requested a recommendation for good Indian food in Denver. We live in Lakewood, and have yet to find good Indian restaurant in our area. My friends recommended several places in Centennial, but when I saw the menu at Bawarchi this was my first choice. I’ve had Indian food in India, and I can honestly say that Bawarchi offers authenic Indian cuisine that is unique in their own way. They have their own masalas that are exquisite! I have come here twice in one week since I tried it. We are becoming regulars at Bawarchi. The food is amazing. Healthy and delicious. The service is so kind and generous with their attention, and their assistance with special requests and answering questions. I love this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You’ll see large families here for weekend meals. I highly recommend Bawarchi if you are looking for high quality Indian food, good service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
