This is our favorite place to purchase authentic smoked andouille sausage.,,we have lived all over and had numerous trips to Louisiana and Baumann’s is the best there is - has a nice kick and is on the lean side perfect to eat as is or in your favorite gumbo.

Get one of their reasonably-priced steaks, ask them to season, grill with the charcoal they sell in the store, and you will have a steak that meets or beats a $70+ steakhouse steak. The folks behind the counter are friendly and passionate about their product. You can't go wrong!

First time stopping at Baumann’s even though we’ve lived in the area for Years. We decided to stop in on a lazy Saturday Afternoon. The warm welcome by the staff as we entered was a delightful surprise! We mentioned we had never been and the folks behind the counter were genuinely happy to answer any questions and show us around. They even offered hot samples of their famous smoked wings (Amazing! Giant wings-dry rub, slightly spicy but not hot) We couldn’t resist the beef jerky. Run don’t walk to get this jerky. It’s thick, tender, and tastes like a well seasoned steak. We picked up some pickles from a local business while there and some chicken gumbo from the case. Just with that impulsive stop, we are going to be dedicated customers.. friendly folks, honest prices, authentic little shop. The worst part is the access to the parking but don’t miss Baumanns! Happy we stopped!

If you haven't been to a butcher shop in a while you need to check this place out. I stopped in a few days ago and bought some brats and pork steaks. I made the brats tonight and they were amazing. Very well ground meat and delicious flavor. I made the pork steaks a few days ago and they were outstanding as well. In the past I have had ribeyes, pork chops and ground chuck. I have never been disappointed and they're prices are in line with all the grocery chains. It's worth the extra trip.

We ordered their smoked beef tenderloin for our wedding dinner for 20. It was perfect. So delicious and beautiful to serve. They were friendly and great to do business with. Definitely our go-to place for meat now.
