Great winery with a charming atmosphere and friendly staff! I visited Barnstormer in November when the busy season was winding down and absolutely loved the place. From the complimentary glass of bubbly Resiling upon arrival to the wonderful recommendations from our wine server, everything was great.

I had the "Reds" tasting and enjoyed each one. The Blaufränkisch was my favorite. Their wines are on the pricier side compared to wineries in the area, but not undeservingly so. If only for a tasting, add Barnstormer to your list when touring the lake.

Barnstormer is my favorite winery in the world! The ambiance is so cozy and inviting and the staff are always lovely. We have been coming from Philly every year for our wedding anniversary for the past 3 years and my husband orders bottles online shipped to our house for my birthday. We just finally signed up for the wine club and I’m so excited! I love their reds but their bubbly dry Riesling is my all time fav!! The charcuterie is always fantastic as well and I love that the items are for sale in the fridge too. Even though I’m well versed in their menu I always do a tasting because the new vintages always give a new light to my old favorites. 🍷

Stopped at the winery because of its name and aviation theme. The winery is in a 150-year-old barn which is very nice inside. There's a large bar area and then a lounge where you can sit around a fireplace. The hostess was extremely knowledgeable and knew a lot about the wines. She describe them perfectly. I'm a fan of dry red wines and theirs were absolutely amazing. Very full-bodied not your typical light finger lakes wine. Will certainly go back and hope to order some online when my supply runs out Great place.

Wow! What an amazing experience. My partner and I stopped in yesterday on a whim hoping to taste some wines after a hike. The wine tasting experience was really great — they had a valentines day tasting menu and paired some local chocolate with it which made the experience very special.

What really made this a stand out experience was the way we were treated by the staff. The manager talked us through each option and after chatting for a while even pulled out a map and circled a bunch of other wineries and breweries for us to try.

It was a standout experience on our trip and we will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Don't let the outside of Barnstormer fool you. It is not a rustic barn, but rather a large space with lots to check out, including some great wines. We were fortunate enough to be able to sit and relax as a small group in the Aviator Lounge. Hanna took care of us and was pleasant and knew her wines.

We tried a flight which we enjoyed. The mulled wine would be great with a Thanksgiving dinner etc. They sell a kit and a free sample came with our tasting (warm, smelled great and perfect for the fall season). The decor was pretty cool (aviation themed).

What a lovely Sunday morning brunch we had at Barnstormer a couple weeks ago. Sitting in their back field under a cabana, listening to some local music from Louiston, enjoying great food in a relaxed atmosphere was simply spot on. Plus, I have a new favorite Sunday brunch wine - Altitude - to add to what is my favorite wine from Barnstormer, their Bubbly Dry Riesling. It was so good, we’ll be headed back when we return to the FLX later this summer!

Molly was so awesome!! I am newer to wine and she explained a lot. I trusted her to pick out the wine based on my tastes. She was spot on! She also went out of her way to make me a list of other places to visit! This was the best tasting I've ever had. The atmosphere was fun and the cat enjoyed some company. I'd highly recommend stopping in!!

Wow, just wow! This very unassuming winery delivers on all fronts! Great wines (our favorites were the dry rose, bubbly Riesling and departure red blend), great music (Mumford, Lumineers, etc.), friendly staff that was very knowledgeable and even offered our kids popsicles!, and great ambiance with a welcoming bar and cozy spots to sip. Their merchandise was also top notch and super practical unlike many other wineries.

It was November so we didn’t get to experience outside but the grounds look gorgeous and great for kids and pups to roam in the summer.

This might be our favorite winery. Highly recommend!
