I ordered pistachio cream online. No issues. Then I get an email from Isabella telling me they are getting 15 more in and they can give me a better price and free delivery. Great. Then comes the nonsense. They wanted me to buy other products if they wanted me to deliver it. I told her I will gladly drive out there and pick it up. Then she said I needed to order more items to ensure my order would be fulfilled. I asked for prices on some products I use. Basically 50% more than what I pay locally. So they want to give you a deal on one item and then overcharge you on everything else. I have all the emails to show the correspondence between us. If they wanted my business they went about it the totally wrong way. No longer will do business with them.

Great vendor of bakery ingredients. They have been upfront and meet my company’s needs and wholesale prices. Imagine a company you can text a sales rep for supplies (500lbs of flour) and get your order in less than 36 hours! WITH a custom invoice you can use Apple Pay on!!! This is the future for me! Plus they delivery across state lines into New Jersey!!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Do not use this company. They are ridiculous in how they ship this product and refuse to take accountability. The ice was shipped in a bag outside of the first cardboard box which makes no sense. There was no dry ice in the package but melted ice outside of the cardboard box. The company finally replied after a week and stating 'as per policy' ground ship is just 'estimated' yet don't even send it with proper packaging. Overnight costs almost as much as the product itself. Again, if they aren't willing to rectify their mistake (no dry ice, ice in a plastic bag OUTSIDE of the cardboard box), do not use them. Service sucks and product was completely smushed together, melted and unusable. Ridiculous service and ridiculous policies.

3/21 - update. These guys are such liars. I can post screenshots of our conversation where they’ve never offered a discount or anything else. Not on previous or future orders. They also never sent any gel packs, it came with one small ice pack which already melted. Go with other vendors, they all do ground shipping within foam boxes, dry ice and actually have the products come intact. These guys charge $70 for overnight shipping which makes no sense. Useless service and now they’ve become liars too.

Ordered 3 cases of Van Leer Dark snaps and 3 cases of Van Leer Milk snaps 30lb cases. Was told by Isabella/Sofia that my 3 cases of milk would come 2 to 3 days after my dark arrived. My dark arrived last week, Wednesday I believe, and the delivery invoice said all 6 cases were delivered. I called Isabella/Sofia on Friday last week to find out a tracking for the other 3 cases of milk hadn't arrived but stated on the invoice it had. When I called, just before 2PM my time, Isabella/Sofia answered and asked me where I'm located. I told her where and she then instructed me that I'd have to call on Monday or send an email to support because, and I quote her, "She was leaving for the day to go home". I then email support and call them back Monday. On Monday, I got Isabella again and she told me that my order would be sent out today. I asked for tracking, and while asking for tracking Isabella then decided to chastise me for saying in my email to support that she wanted to go home and not help me the past Friday. While speaking with her, she constantly interrupted, argued and patronized me by saying, "Yeah, yeah, okay..." while I was voicing my complaint. I still hadn't received my milk chocolate yet and emailed them again on Thursday (I have 4 days before I go out of state to sell this chocolate for business), I stressed this in the email and got a reply from Isabella/Sofia that were copy and pastes of previous answers she gave me. I replied with a please send tracking and she gave me my old tracking #. I let her know and she said to call. So I called and asked for a different person. Sam answered and help me with in a minute or 2 and got me my tracking. My delivery is scheduled for today. My professional opinion, after reading other reviews on here as well is that Isabella/Sofia isn't very good at her job. Sadly for BA, I will not return again for business and will gladly use my old supplier. I thought I'd try someone new and this was my experience.

I LOVE working with this company! Personalized service, prompt delivery and easy payment links. I ordered cherries and this company suggested that I pay $103 in shipping for faster delivery so the cherries would not thaw. I declined because I was going to make juice with them the day I received them anyways. I received a call from my fedex driver that the packages had been damaged and cherries had gone everywhere and they would return the package for me. So I approved. That was on August 15th. Today, October 8th, after multiple times trying to get an answer from this company, I still do not know whether I’m even going to be approved for a refund or not. My question is, after reading multiple negative reviews, what is bakers authority doing to ensure customer satisfaction to help their business thrive? Because delaying my refund or nkt giving me an answer is not one of the things.
