Great place with helpful and friendly staff. The humidor is well stocked and well maintained. And the lounge has great atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping in even if you have to make a bit of a drive.

The lounge is an absolute must visit if you are in Northern Illinois. The owner is super friendly and down to earth. His knowledge on cigars is second to none, along with his selection. The atmosphere is welcoming, calm, and genuine. Barry cares about his business and the regulars that attend. Its cheesy, but everyone is treated as family and there is no elitism among the patrons. The Lounge is bright and open with a spacious deck on the back, overlooking the Rock River. This is the place to go for good people and a good dag. Military and First responder friendly.

I went to the Bad Ash Cigar Lounge for the first time yesterday. What an amazing place! Not only was the owner extremely welcoming and helpful, but the customers that were there, many of whom were his regulars, made it feel like I’ve been going there for years. The collection of cigars is also amazing and extensive! I highly recommend anyone who loves cigars or even just wants to try one, to stop in, and enjoy this absolute gem of a place.
