Starting with the pierogi trio, it provided a satisfying array of flavors, loved all the sour cream on the side!
Hope to try the dessert pierogis someday!
The goulash was the star of my meal! Goulash is a dish that relies heavily on the slow-cooking process to develop rich flavors, and it seems Babcias pierogis nails it in this department. The meat and well-balanced spices likely make it a standout dish on the menu.
However, the golabki falls short of my expectations as it was under seasoned. The Golumbki, stuffed cabbage rolls, should ideally be bursting with flavor from the meat filling and the sauce. The lack of seasoning might result in a bland taste and a missed opportunity to fully enjoy this classic dish. But with a combined bite of the goulash I did eat all of the golumbki.
The service was good and the ambiance is made up of whatever is happing at the broadway market which can be quiet, low-key, and a little eerie, but it can also be loud, busy, and eventful! Depends when you go! Overall, I will be visiting again!

My kids school sells these frozen monstrosities. They look like they are made of cardboard, and taste like cardboard.
I see the owner has no common sense and blames the poor flavor on the way people prepare them! What? Simmering till they float, then frying in butter/oil... then they still go straight into the trash. $12 for 6...

This place has excellent service with 27 wonderful flavors of perogies. My own personal favorites were the loaded potato and buffalo chicken perogies. Make sure to get an apple cider slushie!

I bought Babcia pierogi for Easter this year. I had heard good things about them. I grew up on pierogi thanks to my Polish Gran. I made dinner with them as the main course. We started to eat them and everyone agreed they were awful. The dough and filling had no flavor, the dough was like eating cardboard. I threw them all in the garbage and had to make a new main course for Easter dinner. I will never buy them again. I will stick to the brands I have always used.

Just had your product for the first time at Taste Of Buffalo. Your stuffed banana pepper and chicken pierogis deserve 10 stars ⭐️. The filling was outstanding . Just spicy enough and the chicken sausage over the top with that sauce. Best product I personally had today.

I was unable to make it to our annual visit to the Broadway market. We love getting pierogies! My daughter was able to go and I was so excited she brought home your pierogies. I'm so sorry but very disappointed! The filling was great but the dough, not so much! It tasted like cardboard! I know you put a lot work into them but the dough needs improvement.

Well, I tried, I wasn't impressed. I do not like the "pie" like crust, which I am sure why people say taste like cardboard. Sorry, I come from polish descent in buffalo and would rather buy elsewhere or try again myself LOL! But I will say I got my mother Czernina soup there and she absolutely loves it from there! So I guess it just depends on what n how you like your pol food! 🙂

Ample parking in free parking ramp. Delicious Polish food. You can get it cooked for immediate consumption or you can buy frozen for later enjoyment. The pierogies were delicious, just like I used to make with my Mom, daughter, and granddaughter! The staff was so nice and friendly too. I definitely will be going back! All the deliciousness without all the work. Heaven!!!!
