The cherry tomatoes made up a wonderful sauce, and the blueberries were very fresh, plump and sweet! Everyone was so friendly and helpful to this newbie to shopping farmer's markets.

There was a nice selection of vegetables and canned goods. The vegetables were beautiful but ask pricing. I accidentally bought more expensive Amish vegetables as some aren't clearly labeled.

I stopped shopping at farmers mkts a few years ago because I would buy boxes of tomatoes to can get home and the ones in the bottom were rotten. After a few years of that I stopped buying from farmers. My son who lives in H'ville brought me four boxes of tomatoes from Ayers and they were beautiful even in the bottom. You restored my faith in farmers! Thank you

Produce was great. Wish the guy running the cash register was a little more personable. He got kind of irritated when I asked for a receipt. It was also a little strange the total I paid 14.67 didnt match the receipt he gave me for 12.27 (not sure what that was about, but I wasn't gonna argue over 2 bucks).
Cantaloupe and watermelon were huge.

I like this farmer's market minus the crowds and narrow isles. I felt very claustrophobic. Which unfortunately makes me feel rushed but I am appreciate this place. Of the two of twelve I bought so far are delicious. I will be back, soon and hopefully not as crowded!

Be careful about the apples advertised as being from Scott's. The batch I bought there at Ayers taste nothing like the apples purchased at the orchard.
