We enjoyed royal red shrimp, seafood chowder, and fish tacos. The food was quite tasty, although it did take longer than expected to arrive. With that being said, everything was very warm if not hot, so it's tough to complain about the wait time.
Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.

We will definitely be back.

I live in Austin and I decided to order a fried shrimp po boy and hush puppies.
You can see the amount of shrimp like
6 medium ish size. I ate more bread than I did shrimp. After taxes it was $ 17 and I felt sorry for them felt like they hadn’t had many customers. and left a $5.00 tip before even seeing the food. $22 dollars is a lot of money for a sandwich period much less a sandwich that looks this sad.
I will not be back. I just didn’t want to drive further to Beebe and I was craving shrimp. Next time I will go to my usual place Sam’s Eatery, and It’s only like 10 minutes and so worth it and they give you 2 sides and price is better.

Well, wasn’t 5 star but wasn’t bad either. Nice small place, a little noisy from the cooler and ice machine and whatever else was running in the back which made it hard to hear a conversation. Waitresses were VERY good running there selves crazy trying to take care of customers. It wasn’t bad and we will visit again ?

I am very disappointed in serving size of the fish,,,I ordered the small fish basket,, Let me tell you,,the pieces of fish are about as big as my index finger,,,NO LIE,,,,fries being only a small amount in bottom of Togo container,,,,WHAT DO I NEED 2 TARTER SAUCES FOR,,,if I ate it, one would be enough trust me ,as small as the fish size is. I can see why the place was completely empty!! I will be driving into NLR the next time I want some fish!!

Amazing find! Mahi was reminiscent of my South Florida seafood roots! Blackened on a wonderful bun with on point fries! I'm a ranch dressing and fries gal, and that ranch was fabulous! Hubby had chicken livers and gravy and they were delicious as well! Waitress was wonderful and friendly, restaurant was clean and welcoming! Full bar as well! We'll be back!!

We go here a couple of times a year and every time our food was very good. We usually get tge chicken Quesadillas or cheeseburger wrap. Our Daughter loves the crab legs.

Ordered take out.. And I was sooooo amazed. Yummy, delicious, freshly cooked, and very kind employee's. 10/10 for me! Cannot wait to go back and sit in their patio and enjoy a cold beverage from bar. So glad I made a trip.
Hushpuppies was so good. catfish crunchy to perfection. Fries are skinny but so tasty and not over cooked.

The Catfish Basket is so worth the drive. We live in Jacksonville and this is the 2nd trip we have taken to Austin for this Catfish Basket. Haven't tried anything else but the burger looks great. We ate in the first time and got takeout this trip. We will absolutely be making this trip more often. Looking forward to trying some others options but it'll be hard not getting the Carfish Basket.
