They have terrible customer service. We bought anise seeds there that had an expiry date over a year ago. We didn't see this when we bought it, but only when we got home. We brought the item back and were told they could not help us without a receipt (we had brought the wrong receipt). Specifically they said, "If you had a receipt, we would take it back, but we cant help you without one." We left and came back 10min later with the correct receipt and then they said they would not take the return because "maybe we had an old one in our closet, bought a new one, and tried to give back the old one." I have never seen anything like this-they sell an expired product, tell us we can get the return if we bring the receipt, and then wont honor once we show the receipt. Be careful when shopping in that store!

They sell expired meat. I only shop here if I am desperate. The place is dirty and needs a good cleaning.

This supermarket is a bit dated, but it is well stocked and reasonably priced. As most markets in the area have closed, it is great to still have some neighborhood options.

The only thing I wish to say about this market is that during the last few yrs because of convenience. I purchased various meats and poultry. I always check.the expiration date. Unfortunately the meat I buy has gone bad in half my purchases. This . As I said. Is always before the expiration date. I don't think the refrigerator is cold enough.

A lot of the items here are expired. I’ve thrown away a good handful of items from here because I noticed too late. Tried to exchange an item once and the store clerk gave a no thought response of “there’s nothing I can do about it.”

I’d say a good start is to clear out expired items so customers are not in the position of getting gypped.

If you want a quick shopping trip this is the place in Great Neck to go to. Hardly any lines. Prices are good. Selection is somewhat limited but to be honest for the average shopper it's fine. The produce is fresh and parking is plenty. The store looks a little dated but they recently put in new refrigerators which look really nice.

It's close, it's open, it's got the basic stuff you'll need. It's not got a particularly large array of stuff, it's kinda old and cramped, the deli is nice, staff are very friendly, and it has a wide selection of kosher stuff if you're into that. It's never my first choice but I don't regret going there if I end up there.
