This place is incredible!!!! Granddaughters picked here to go on one of our fall break days, and it didn't disappoint. We learned so much from such helpful staff, who honestly appear to love their jobs. So refreshing. We touched, we saw, they were even able to feed!!! Bought a couple of things for my garden and my sons, perfect day! Thank you!!! Oh....you can also purchase eggs from the chickens. So awesome!

I am entirely thrilled and satisfied with our experience here. Day 3 after talking home a small bag of worms and for starters, the worms acclimated well and the plants ARE THRIVING! This is a no pressure to buy visit, and people are welcome to respectfully view not only the worms but the rest of the farm as well. Probably one of my favorite experiences so far in the valley, if you're looking for something to do early morning and just want to spend time around clean air and nature this is the stop for sure. I brought my two unamused teenagers and even they had a great time playing in the wormitorium and looking at all the plants!!!

The worm farm is Awesome ?
The young lady at the desk was very helpful.
My son's doing his eagle scout project
And she helped calculate all the amount of soil and the soil types needed.
And they deliver.

We've been buying worms from the Arizona Worm Farm for a few years now for our garden bed vermicomposting. (I'll do a post on that soon). The worms produce castings that are full of microbes and make for great soil in the garden. Get them in your garden now to give them time to adjust and settle in before it's too hot.

The farm sells mulch and compost by the bucket. U-scoop it, so get whatever amount that you need for any size garden. Use the Farm's bucket to measure, or bring your own. Put the compost in your garden for rich, healthy soil and cover with the mulch to hold moisture in. The farm also sells veggie starts and makes their own black soldier fly larva nutrient plus liquid and vermicompost tea.

As a family, we've also attended a fun u-pick breakfast that the farm has hosted a few times, and we can't wait to do that again. Check out their website for all that they offer, including a variety of classes. The team is so friendly and helpful, and it's nice to see familiar faces year after year.

While you are down in this area, you should also check out The Plant Stand and the Farm at South Mountain.

What an incredible place! Went as a “plus one” to a class and they are so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. You can go the very affordable “scoop your own” mulch and compost, or buy it bagged and ready to go. If you garden at any capacity, you should check this place out for sure!!!!

A jewel in the desert! There are so many places to buy plants and to get advice for gardening, but I have found this place to be a gem. Each time I leave the gardening classes I feel rejuvenated and excited to dig back into the soil. The classes are $25 each and you leave with baby plants to put right into the ground as soon as you get home! You also get worm castings to take with you. It’s truly an amazing deal and you get the feeling that above all they’re wanting to spread awareness and joy in personal gardens more than making a buck. Super professional place with super friendly people. Highly recommend!
