I am not sure about your work experience with county's building department. My neighbor has had a permit at 2019 which was approved in couple days and finalized over the counter following week. She provided the exact same materials to me. I filed online and got an answer that it could take up to 16 weeks. At Centennial City, I could talk with their manager in person when I walk in and he helped hand by hand to fill in application. Here I even cannot get an access to anybody in person. What a contrast just over the Arapahoe Ave between couple blocks. Why do we need a county building department for tax payers?

Super friendly and fast. I had an appointment so didn't have to wait. Even stopped by another department to ask a question and was provided the best service. I didn't expect to get everything done in one trip but finished everything in less than 25 minutes. The nicest people ever!

WARNING: Out of Colorado's 64 Counties, Denver County is the only County that Arapahoe DMVs cannot service!
In other words, if your vehicle was registered in Denver County, You must take your Emissions Test Results to a Denver DMV Office in order to get your new tags!
I wasted much time and energy because this vital fact was NOT on Arapahoe's Website. - Thank you to the Knowledgeable Security Guard who informed me of this fact! (After witnessing my frustration with the kiosk not acknowledging my car's license plates or VIN#, He offered assistance.)

They have this handy little thing where it texts you when it's your turn at the DMV...except that I waited 2.5 hours in my car, finally got the text, and they've already closed the doors for the day. Tip to the DMV: Don't waste money on a text system if you're not gonna use it right.

Why have 7:30am phone appointments when the building doesn’t open until 8:00am. If the operating hours are stated at 8:00am-4:30pmhow is it coherently possible to operate interviews before that time? It’s unrealistic and absurd.

Witnessed a servant road raging and driving dangerously in a county vehicle the other day. Driving privileges in taxpayer funded vehicles should be at the highest standard, with zero tolerance for emotional or aggressive driving.
