I came here for the first time last Wednesday and was assigned to window 18. Alena was very patient in answering questions from customers on the phone. Although I waited for ten minutes, I still got the documents I needed within five minutes. She is great! Absolutely 5-star praise!

We married in 1991 so no digital copy. I paid for a copy of my marriage certificate (insurance requires it) but it is missing. No one has called me. I have had to call them. Every time I call (4 months now) they have no clue about my situation and are rude even though I have book and page number where it is supposed to be (I got the info from them). More than disappointed. Even though I have serious health issues I am currently without health insurance.

I for the life of me I don't understand why Eastern Arapaho county continues to be part of everything west of E470. Aurora and the other municipalities have nothing in common with the small towns out on the eastern plains. They don't share our values or morales. Jane Lopez is a socialist democrat that has not a clue of the citizens on the plains.

We were so fortunate to get our call answered by Patty in the recording office. We'd spent months searching for specific records, and she went above and beyond to direct us in the right direction. Not only did she do some research on these records, but she sent us to a complete other county where we could retrieve them. What took us 6 months to do, she did in 20 minutes. We are grateful for people who are friendly and understanding, not to mention knowing what they're doing. Everyone has their own experiences, but ours was great. And we give this office 5 stars. We give Patty 10 stars! Thank you for your help and giving us the clarity we needed.

I was so happy to work with Lee K. at the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recording Offices. She provided, without a doubt, the best customer service I have experienced with any Government Office. Thank you, Lee, for making my legal name change go smoothly.

Registered my wife's new electric vehicle and wrote a personal check to cover the fee. The DMV, without my approval or disclosing their intent to do so, chose to deposit the check electronically and then charged my account an additional $1.00. Not a large amount of money, obviously, but first, l I did not give them permission to withdraw money from my account electronically (which is certainly more convenient for them to do so) and secondly, withdraw more money from my account than I wrote the check for without disclosing their intent to do so. I checked with my bank and they received nothing from the DMV to indicate that the funds being withdrawn were the result of a paper check I had written. Furthermore, the bank's representative told me that normally when a paper check is deposited electronically the check's number is supposed to be included in the transaction which it was not. In addition, according to the person I spoke with at the Arapahoe County Clerk's office I should have received the check back from the agent and been told that it was run electronically - didn't happen. Again one dollar is not a lot of money but it's the principle that someone can arbitrarily decide to withdraw more money from my bank account than I authorized.

They were fast, friendly, and answered dumb questions with a smile. Honestly, the service was so good it freaked me out a little. I'm a California transplant, and their DMV has literally been compared to hell. So I'm very impressed! Thanks for being amazing.

The attitude that some of the staff at this facility have is absurd. I guess asking the basic question constitutes a rude response, seriously if you hate this job please find something else. Anyone in management reading this by chance please start doing some training, this behavior is way too common between the last couple of years I’ve been here. Btw I’m referring to the goth girl near the main entrance.
