Every time I'm in this town I wonder where the locals go. Mystery solved. This place is great! Walked in the door and felt like I have been coming here for 10 years. Friendly bartender, great people, horseshoes out back and an awesome patio. And a giant parking lot for trucks too!

A friend works there and I stopped by to deliver produce. Seemed like a friendly, tight knit group hangs out there and the drink prices are great. No food is served but they have popcorn and shuffleboard!

I love this place! This is the best bar I have ever been to with a friendliest people I have ever seen! When I am there I feel at home. No need to feel unsafe there it is probably one of the most mellow bars you'll ever see in your life. They have a great night life with bands and dancing at times. They say Disneyland is the greatest place on Earth but that's just because they have not been to the American Legion in Cortez that is the greatest place on Earth. Lots of activities darts horseshoes shuffleboard pulled tournaments a free popcorn and the best staff that you will ever meet and go to love! If you have never been there you need to make a special trip I guarantee you will be back more than once!

It has a large dance hall with a bar and multiple bame stations setup for different times of the year. Then out back there are 14 horseshoe pits for league games and or for outdoor activities.

They also have a very big and nice gathering space for delicious meals. 🇺🇲
