Love Amans. Family run. Nice selection of products. Owner very knowledgeable and helpful. Have shopped here for years, with my parents, now as an adult, and now my adult children shop here also.
This 2 star rating is based on some pricing on items in your store. Maple syrup is outrageous ly priced, way above any comparable place around. River Rat Spicy Beer spreadable cheese; $9.99, and the other flavors $5.99. Why the huge difference? You can purchase these River Rat Cheeses at other stores within a 10 minute distance all for $5.99. Nowhere else is there a price difference based on the flavor. I feel like you are taking a huge advantage of your customers. We have always purchased our River Rat cheese at Amans or in Clayton. But will now be purchasing at another nearby store, $4 less for the Spicy Beer.

One of the few truly local markets still in business. They have everything you could imagine from plants, seeds, groceries, a huge beer selection, fire wood, seasonal decor, i could keep going on! I am happy to support a historic piece of Irondequoit and hope to see Amans continue to offer their awesome selections!

Great Deals here and such Kindness!
Charles, the young man who works there went above and beyond to carry my tall garden decoration our to my car but it broke on the way. He said that I could get a huge discount on it- which I did! It turned out a small globe broke and could be replaced. He cleaned up the glass in front of my car and was such a nice man to talk to. He deserves a raise!
I bought a freshly made wreath- they were making them up in the store as I was shopping and for a fantastic price. I aldo bought produce and local honey at prices that you can’t beat anywhere else.
I will be back at this wonderful local business.

Amazing place for farm fresh food, beer and gardening supplies. Most of the veggies/fruit during local harvesting seasons are available. An impressive selection of beer (I wish I still drank!) and a nursery as well. This place is under the radar for most people in town. Definitely worth exploring.

Love this place. Tons of plants, some groceries, a great selection of 1,000 Islands Cheese, and a great beer selection! Great staff, and always a great place to stop in to.

I love it here! They have a walk-in beer cooler with a decent selection of craft and domestic beers. They have awesome greeting cards and gifts. They have produce and locally made sauces and foods, pumpkins, and corn husks for fall decorating, and in warmer weather annuals and perennials. I always find something I want.

My first visit and I was very pleased with my experience. I'll tell you what I really liked, it happened as soon as I set foot in Aman's: I was welcomed with a sincere " hello, how are you today?" That's rare these days unfortunately, so when you encounter a place that still displays it, it's worthy of mention. Walking around, I saw a lot of other things I appreciated, things which will require another visit in the near future. They have a nice variety of beer for example. I checked out their walk in beer cooler and found a few intriguing looking brands, ones I am unfamiliar with- I like that. They offer a nice assortment of cheeses and baked goods too. There were many other delicious food items, and produce, as well. I had to expedite my visit because I could have walked out with a lot more purchases than I arrived looking for. It would have been very easy. It's worth mentioning too, that Aman's is a local business and has a unique vibe, a good one- another thing I like. To wrap up, I recommend a visit based on its selection, its very convenient location, and the superior customer service that they warmly offer. I will be back soon!

Update, 7-22-2022: This place is still worthy of a visit. Impressive array of products and a great beer selection. Make a visit, you'll be glad you did.
