What a great sports shop -- it's packed with most anything you could need! We needed some camping supplies and they had quality items for us to choose from.

Great place. They sold me a lure that caught this 15 pound coho, which is the biggest coho the town has ever seen. Be sure to ask for Doug because he knows a lot about fishing lures and he's very well dressed.

The service at the Alaska Sports shop is beyond what I could expect. We have been going to Haines every summer for over a decade and I think they just keep getting better. Our last trip down we were a bit early looking for bait so we could hit the water and were welcomed in.

Thanks to the folks at the Sports Shop and Olerud's for their exceptional service over the years. I look forward to seeing you again on the next trip down.
