I know we came on opening day, so we will come back another time to give another chance. Let me start with the food is really good. The sushi was super fresh, appetizers all solid. However, they need to work on streamlining their systems and processes. Everything took forever, sushi came before the appetizers, we were here for almost 2 hours. Again, today is opening day. But I hope the owners see this and recognize that their systems need some work.

We visited Aji Sushi on their opening night and, as expected with any new restaurant, they’re still working through some service kinks. Our server was friendly and honest, even admitting to a mistake with our appetizers, which we appreciated. Food running and timing were a bit off, and the wait for dishes was a little long—but given there wasn’t a soft opening, it’s totally understandable.

That said, the food was very good. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. Most of the appetizers were solid, though the tempura onion was slightly undercooked.

We’ll definitely be coming back at a later date to try them again once they’ve had a chance to settle in. I’m confident they’ll tighten things up on the service side, and I’m excited to see how they grow.

Very nice experience. Tastes really great and it is inexpensive and fine. I love the California roll, the sashimi is also excellent. Best sushi restaurant around. Worthy 🙂

Very pleased with the new all you can eat sushi restaurant in New Lenox. High quality sushi and tasted delicious. Loved the house salad and crab rangoons also. Beautiful decor and clean interior. Friendly and kind staff and amazing service. Can't wait to go back again soon.
