Amazing food! Every single dish we ordered was great. The seafood pasta was perfect balance between creaminess and tomato flavor.
Clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had.
Cioppino was great too! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Pismo.

Make a reservation!! We arrived at 5:15p mid-week & were seated. Within 45 minutes the place was full.

The atmosphere is diner style, nothing fancy. Our server was fast & knowledgeable & brought us San Luis sourdough buns! YUM!! I started with the clam chowder which was thick & delish with potatoes, celery & clams. My wife had a basic salad. For dinner I enjoyed the halibut special, $35, that was cooked through but still tasty & flakey - ordered with minimal sauce. The veggies we're fresh/crispy & the scalloped potatoes were perfect.

My wife enjoyed the fish tacos which were loaded with snapper fish. Do ask for extra salsa & salt otherwise the tacos are rather bland. With that, my wife would order them again. Portion size was great! We didn't leave hungry. No dessert for us but, the key lime pie will be on our table next visit.
A minimal wine list but nice wine glasses. Check to learn corkage fee if it's important to you.

Two words - very delicious! We had the opportunity to taste their Italian snapper, the cocktail shrimps and the fried calamari... Well, everything was very flavorful, delicious and fresh. From an European point of view - portions are big, but u cannot stop eating. The staff is friendly and they deliver fast. We truly enjoyed it, what a wonderful night ❤️

The food was top tier. Honestly some of the best clam chowder I have ever had. Their seafood pasta was also very good. The fish was fresh and the atmosphere was very nice. I also want to point out that it was kinda sus that they didn’t want us to sit inside because they said they had “reservations” and then they had to ask their manager permission to seat us outside. Just kinda weird first interaction, but still they were able to accommodate us just fine.

We had an amazing dinner last night. Wife ordered the seafood pasta and I ordered the Halibut special. Both dishes were exceptional!

The seafood pasta was so rich and the seafood was delicious. Only gripe was that my wife only got one shrimp and one scallop. My halibut was cooked perfectly and the scalloped potatoes and green beans were delicious.

The one negative was the fried calamari. Ours was incredibly chewy and tough to eat. Even the tentacles were overcooked. We mentioned this to our waitress and she comped us the appetizer without us asking for such. Excellent customer service!

So all in all, we had an amazing dinner and definitely will return!

What a great dining experience. We finally stopped by after driving by so many times and were glad we did. After making reservations (recommended), we arrived and were immediately seated. Our server made sure we knew about the specials and offered some nice recommendations. We settled on Clam Chowder and Crab Cakes which were delicious and served hot with in minutes of ordering. Certainly both were winner dishes and well worth it. Plenty of Clams in the chowder and the crab cakes were the best I have had in my personal “Crab Cake” adventures throughout the country. Our meal choices were Fish &Chips and Halibut. Both were again excellent choices. We finished with both Key-lime Cheesecake and Apple Bread Pudding with a Bourbon sauce. Definitely on our list to return to try other meals very soon. Staff and our serve made the evening a wonderful experience.

When vacationing on the coast, eating fresh seafood is a must. Based on all of the great reviews, we decided to try Ada's Fish House. I was pretty happy that they were able to get us in on a Friday evening at about
6 PM without reservations, it was only a 15 minute wait. It was lovely on the pet friendly patio. The clam chowder was to die for, seriously the best clam chowder l've had in a long time, it may even rival my favorite place in Monterey! The fresh scallops were amazing, they were cooked and seared perfectly and literally melted in my mouth.
Even the scalloped potatoes and fresh green beans were also really good. Service was great. I would definitely return!
