What a wonderful ceramics studio and program we have locally as well as a variety of ceramic levels class offerings, student exhibitions, specialty workshops and demos. I like how much you can learn and how well stocked the studio is with every tool, mold, stencils, glazes, along with boxes and boxes of unique items and clay materials to take your ceramics to the next level. The instructor is an artisan ceramist who has received many accolades and runs this entire ceramic program in Terra Linda. You can learn a lot in these classes. Beginners are able to gain valuable skills & make many clay items and grow quickly in their Fundamentals class for beginners. Experienced ceramist have lots to gain too with advanced studio studies and choices .

This studio is fundamental to my creative life. I am very impressed with the continued quality of the teacher, the other students, and the creative community that this studio fosters. From beginners to very advanced artists, all are welcome, all of us are treated like artists in our own right, whether we are creating for fun or for showing/selling. Not only are we given access to a huge variety of underglazes, glazes, texturing tools, a big slab roller, and many other things (including the opportunity to have all of our work fired), we are shown new things all the time, to broaden our skills and be inspired. I truly love this studio. It has changed my life.

As a member of this studio for many years, I have to give it the 5 star rating it deserves. Terra Linda Ceramic Artists is a vibrant and supportive artists community that cultivates the artist in everyone. I learned how to work with clay and glazes in this fantastic environment and had the opportunity to show and sell my work at famous galleries, go to ceramic conventions, and participate in offsite events like pit firings at the beach which will forever be some of the best experiences I've ever had. If you are on the fence about signing up, don't hesitate. GET YOUR HANDS INTO CLAY!

I have been a part of the Terra Linda studio for 20+ years, first as a beginner ceramicist then over the years have learned, grown and now exhibit my work in shows and galleries as a member of the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists. This is a direct result of the dedication of the programs director, Nadia Tarzi Saccardi, who not only provides a safe place to explore ideas but encourages and teaches one how to accomplish your goals.

I have been involved with TLCA for the last 3+ years, and I love going to classes there! I started as a beginner, and have grown and learned so much from Nadia- the community of artists is very welcoming and friendly and very supportive of each other’s work. There’s a wealth of materials available, and opportunities for extra lab time to work on projects outside of class. It’s one of my happy places!
