Not sure how I feel about paying $56 fabricated vs. $36 O.E.M.

They didn't have the oem hose I needed in stock so I brought mine in and he built a new one within 10 minutes.
3 stars because the oem hose was around $36.00 and I was never given a quote. I was handed the new hose and when I inquired about the cost, I was shocked to learn it was $56.00. I paid it. Didn't know what else to do.
The hose appears to be higher qualty/p.s.i. but it's only good customer service to give an upfront quote/estimate.
I'm happy with the hose and turnaround...it would have been nice to know $$$ in advance.
It also doesn't exactly sit well that they didn't have the factory replacement and I paid a 44% penalty.
I know other places like Napa build hoses. Maybe their apples to apples price is in line with all the others....

Bought a Stihl battery trimmer here and am very happy with it.
The staff stayed past closing time to get me taken care of.
They were very helpful and even spent some time looking for an extra battery.

Drive an Hour and a half to pick up some paint and have them check on a couple of parts we needed. I happened to ask the parts person if they had a tip for Stihl backpack sprayer. The gentleman said that he didn’t even think they had sprayers… However I walked past them on the wall on the way to the parts counter… Interesting. It was obvious he did not want to help. I should’ve known what I was getting into when They didn’t want to look up an IH part number on a seal I had a week or so ago. Stay away...drive three hours if that’s what you need to do to get parts because this place is a disaster. Essential business… I think not!
