Where do I start?! If I could give 10 stars I would. The experience & service was top notch. We sat at the bar. We had the pleasure of Andy taking care of us as the bartender. His drinks were tasty & perfect. The food was delicious. Andy really made this experience 10/10. We got the tomahawk steak. They bring it out & torch it a little. Perfect evening that was not expected when we arrived. Will go back!

We had another great meal at Walnut Kitchen. The bread service featured cornbread and sourdough with sorghum butter. I decided to go for the sourdough and thought it was soft and had a strong sourdough taste.

For my meal, I chose the Cajun Filet Pasta that has seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, Cajun cream sauce, and freshly made in house fettuccine. The Filet was cooked perfectly and slightly spicy from the Cajun seasoning on the steak. I thought the mushrooms had an earthy taste, and the vegetables were fresh. Lastly, the pasta was al dente, and the sauce was more smoky than spicy. I highly recommend trying the pasta. If you’re afraid it’s going to be spicy, it wasn’t spicy at all.

My mom ordered the pork chop which came with green apple + bacon chutney, campfire potatoes, cauliflower, arugula, and apple cider reduction. The pork was cooked perfectly and was juicy.

(Sorry the picture didn’t come out right) My Dad chose the chicken special, which was a stuffed chicken breast with spinach and cheese. Then it’s wrapped in prosciutto and fried. It was served with asparagus and creamy polenta.

Overall, I would highly recommend going to Walnut Kitchen if you want a delicious meal every time.

Enjoyable birthday dinner. Nice quaint atmosphere in a historical building. The service was excellent. Ordered the tableside Tomahawk steak service, and it was a great experience along with shareable sides. Pimento cheese and grit chips were both unique and delicious as well as the lobster dip was creamy with large pieces of lobster.

Great place to eat. Our server, (forgive me if I get it wrong, Tabitha) was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Food was really good as well. The atmosphere was fun and entertaining. If you bought a certain dish, one of the Cook's would come so some table-side presentation. Highly recommend!!

My wife & I made our first visit to The Walnut Kitchen last Saturday evening. It was also a celebration of our anniversary, so we were looking forward to a special evening. We were not disappointed! Each associate we talked with was very accommodating and pleasant. It began with the hostess who made us feel very welcome, especially when I informed her that this was our first visit. While waiting for a table, we were able to grab a couple of seats at the bar and met Mary and Andrew, the bartenders. They were so welcoming and personable, not to mention attentive. We enjoyed our interaction with them so much that we decided to have our special dinner at the bar! They both shared their thoughts regarding appetizer and entree suggestions. The evening was very enjoyable and we look forward to going back, even though we live ~25 miles away! I encourage anyone who may have been contemplating trying The Walnut Kitchen to schedule your visit! The only regret you will have is not trying the restaurant sooner.

I took my fiancée to Walnut Kitchen for her birthday. We started at the bar and Mary B. made us two fantastic drinks. I had "Here comes the sun" and it was visually stunning and delicious. My fiancée had a chocolate martini and was equally as pleased. Shes a great bartender and very friendly. After drinks we made our way to the dinning room. Christian brought us warm bread immediately. Sourdough and cornbread with molasses butter. The cornbread was next level. The atmosphere is fantastic and very comfortable. Christian took great care of us throughout our meal. We started with lobster dip and pita chips. It's a cast iron skillet full of cheesy lobster goodness. Very rich and decadent. My fiancée had chicken cordon bleu and was very pleased with her meal. She really liked the presentation as well. I had the braised Korean BBQ pork bao buns. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful. The pickled vegetables really complimented the meat. It to was visually stunning. The whole experience was very enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere is really comfortable. The staff is excellent and attentive and the food is good and priced reasonably for the quality. We would definitely reccomend a visit to The Walnut Kitchen. We will be going back for sure.

Great ambience & service. Deliciously creative culinary combinations. High-end cuisine in a rustic, relaxed & informal setting. Don't pass up the Korean BBQ appetizer (pictured), if it's being offered.
