I came last Saturday. I heard about them on instagram. They stated that there would be up to 60 pounds of produce for a donation of 10$. I came and paid 20$ in hopes for good produce that I could bring home to my family. The entrance volunteers were nice and gave us two bags of pretzels( which I noticed were expired once I got home). As we arrived to receive the produce , food was placed in our trunk along with some other food items they added. I took a quick look at my trunk afterwards and saw that it was very short of the amount they promised. When I came up to one of the servers and asked about it, they were dismissive and unfriendly. I got home and began to put some of the items away and noticed that more than half was expired and already rotting!! Very disappointed with the outcome. I understand this might have been a donation but who wants to pay 20$ for spoiled and expired items?
I hope they are more clear and open about what is expected of what they are providing.

If you do plan to come to the Saturday events please check your items thoroughly before leaving!

The Village Farm has consistently delivered high-quality and well-organized field trips. My three children, who are quite selective, thoroughly enjoyed their summer camps. This year, I have made changes to my plans on multiple occasions, and the staff, particularly Moonie, has been nothing short of patient, understanding, and accommodating.

This place is AWESOME!!! So great for kids to come learn about all things nature, farming, growing, etc! They have feild trips for school kids, U-Pick days & volunteer gardening days for adults or families and a Summer Camp!! They have lots of 4H for all ages and all kinds of other ways to get involved. This place is a true gem! I've driven on Campbell THOUSANDS of times and never seen it though....it's opposite the UA Farm, and you enter the Rillito River Park parking lot on the east side of Campbell and pass that until you at between their building and farm. Great place to visit!

The Village Farm and the Master Gardeners' Garden nextdoor should not be overlooked. Free, lots of shade with areas to sit. See demos, get ideas all in a great setting. When I visit I always stop by.
